What's the best battle sequence music?

The Battle of Endor for me.

 

I'm listening to The Battle of Hoth now and I have to say that it is one fine piece of music.

 

"Are we ignoring TPM? Does anyone consider "Battle at Hoth" to be better than Dotf?"

I do. The best parts of the "Battle of Naboo" sequence for me are when Anakin destroys the Droid Control Ship and when Obi-Wan kills Maul, and DOTF is nowhere to be heard in those two scenes.

 

I love the sequence of music when Anakin destroys the control ship and makes his get away.
That piece right there is so inspired and epic, very much a sample of what Star Wars is at the core of its being.

 

"Into the Trap" is the BEST ship battle music

"Duel of the Fates" is the BEST ground battle music

 

The Asteroid Field.

 

Maybe I'm the only one who loves Tie Fighter Attack from ANH.

 

I like it too. It kicks arse.

Anyway:

1> Battle of Hoth tied with DOTF & Anakin Destroys the Battleship
2. Battle of Endor. (Too much damn Ewok music for my taste.)

 

Battle of Hoth all the way!

 

Battle of Hoth is my favorite underscore track on the soundtracks by a long shot. It's intense.

I don't like DOTF that much as a battle piece - I find that it works as a standalone piece, but it did not fit the context of the film as well as it could have.

 

Death Star II followed by Asteroid Belt.

 

Battle of Hoth has pace, character and some memorable sounds. Those pianos!!

Anakin in the Battleship is good coz it has pace and drums. But hoth rules.

 

Well, I'm a weapons/hand-to-hand man myself. For that, the best SW song for that purpose is DOTF, of course.

If we're going non-SW, I would say "Night Flight" from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Battle of Yavin play's on a constant loop in my head, dooooooo-de-dooooooo-da-dooooooo-de-dooooooo-da-doooo-dooooooooooooo-de-de-derrr-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de.

 

If the Battle of Hoth happens to include the Imperial theme, then that is my favourite one of all.

The Imperial them represents the Galactic Empires many values. (fear, might, power, etc)

 

The Battle of Hoth. I love the mettalic sound and how the rhythm of the music goes along with the movement of the Imperial Walkers.

 

I really, REALLY like the music from the Battle of Naboo in TPM...

The Battle of Yavin is a VERY CLOSE second...

 

The Battle of Endor 1, 2, and 3.

 

I love all Star Wars but I love the music that is played when Luke is on the weather vane and they have to rescue him.
