I thought it was fairly decent if slightly inconsistent.

I really liked House until the last few seasons.

If by the last few seasons you mean "second half of the show." But it was a procedural, which basically disqualifies it right there.

I've been through them all from Cheers to MASH to Star Trek and etc etc. The NBSG never jumped the shark, even the few filler episodes were entertaining, it ended great, and everything was just great drama and characters.

I loved that show, but that episode where they fight the Cylon Raider named "scar" was laughable.

i want to say twin peaks, but i haven't rewatched it in about ten years so i'm not sure i still feel that way. i think i'll watch it again this summer. my favorite show ever is probably deadwood, but i can't call it the best just because it never got a proper conclusion.

I didn't know they made a Lost spin-off. Was Greg the founder of the Dharma Initiative?

LOL, I actually couldn't stand Lost.

I'm sure that statement will be declared blasphemy by someone.

The first season of BSG and the miniseries, though. The best sci fi mini series of all time, for one thing.

Lost was horrible and the inspiration for so many horrible shows this century.

I rather liked the BSG miniseries, but thought the show was awful, almost as awful as Lost. I quit the show after the first season, as I just couldn't bare to watch another episode, regardless of how good people say it is.

Hmmm...my queue has the miniseries first and then the show. If the show is as bad as Lost, I doubt I'll last through the first episode.

Lost is the reason I get nervous when I think of Abrams directing Star Wars. (Oh wait, banned subject in the YJCC...)

Among those I have experienced . . . Mad Men for drama, Seinfeld for comedy.

Sopranos is probably one of the best shows ever, there were so many great moments through the course of its tenure.

The Wire is also amazingly good, almost perfect.

and Seinfeld, and I don't mean the Seinfeld era when Larry David left either, that's when the show jumped the shark.. Im talking Seasons 3-6, that's when Seinfeld was turning out some of the greatest television ever. Especially season 5, season 5 is the greatest comedy ever on TV. IMO that is.
