Any idea how much an autograph personally signed by Mark Hamill might cost? I'm interested most in his.

No idea (going on the assumption that he will be there & signing)...but I would expect he'd be at least 3 coupons, probably more. Someone said/posted that he charged $90 to autograph things at a previous Convention, so I'm sure it will be expensive. :\

I'm still a little confused about the autograph set-up at C3. Looking for clarification.

I understand it's $10 per coupon, and it could take 1, 2 or more coupons per autograph.

What I'm not sure about is whether you get a photo included with your autograph "coupon" or not. I know at previous events the stars had photos at their booth and you choose one to get signed when you got there. Here it sounds like maybe they sell the pics all up front for $5 and you take them up? Does anyone know the answer to this for sure? Maybe I'm not reading it carefully enough. It all seems a little ambiguous to me, and the pessimist in me fears the worst...

$90 for a Mark Hamill autograph......I was even amazed at Billy Dee Williams charging $20 for his from people who asked him.

There is a generic photo that is free with the coupon, that you get from the actor when you get your autograph.

If you want the special Celebration 3 stamped picture, that is an additional $5.

At C2, all the pictures had the Celebration 2 logo on them and were free with the autograph. Without seeing the images ahead of time, it's easy to say going with the free image is the smart way to go, but it's possible the C3 photo is worth the extra $5, particularly if you're getting only a couple of autos from actors you really enjoy, as opposed to getting one from everyone there.

    From the C3 website:

The coupons will be good for autographs on the official C2 Ventures Celebration III images, or can be used for autographs on items brought from home. Fans should note that licensed Star Wars products are typically acceptable, but signing non-licensed items, like homemade images or toys, is up to the discretion of each actor.

Is there a limit of how much one actor will sign? Like, only one item you can offer the actor/ actress to give you an autograph on?
Can you take a picture with them as well or just get an item signed. Or get a picture with them for the price of the autograph you payed for them?

I would assume it all depends on who it is and how busy they are.

I sent an e-mail to Mary Franklin last night asking if everyone was eligible to preorder their autograph coupons, or just those who volunteered to work the area. I got an automated response saying she was currently in Indy and would be back in the office on the fourth. I'll let you guys know what she says. :)

I saw someone at GenCon one year try to get Billy Dee to sign a Colt 45 bottle. He didn't :)

If we have to pay $5 more for a C3 photo that will really suck. I liked the $120 for $10 last time with the free photo, worked very well. But unless it's a really good pic, I won't care what the autograph is on.
Last time I brought my Dark Side Sourcebook from the PRG and got it signed by some of the baddies. Have to bring it back this time to see if I can get anyone else that I need :)

This isn't really autograph coupon-related, but I don't know where else on this board to ask it lol.

For some time now I've been debating on what I should bring with me to have signed. I'd prefer to get most/all of my autographs on one thing. I've thought about the ROTS Visual Dictionary or the Making of ROTS book (as someone else in here mentioned earlier). There's also a great C3 ad sporting Vader in a recent Insider issue that I really like too, but it's predominantly black, so I'm not sure if that would work depending on what color and kind of pens the celebs sign with, so can you like bring your own of a more noticeable color for them to use? [face_blush]

EDIT: I just got a response from Mary Franklin regarding pre-purchasing the coupons....

I haven?t heard anything about pre-purchasing autograph coupons.

The list of guests, if it?s anything like C2, will keep coming in right up to 2 weeks out from the show! Performers can be hard to schedule sometimes due to their work schedules.

When OfficialPix gets their store up and running, coupon pre-orders will be part of it. They're not gonna limit who can get them; that wouldn't make any sense. They said that volunteers who work a certain number of shifts will be rewarded with autographed photos, so they probably wouldn't need coupons quite as much as the rest of us anyway. Keep checking the C3 and store sections of OfficialPix.com or sign up for their mailing list. I'm sure they'll let us know as soon as coupons are available.

You can pre-order the coupons? Sweet! That sure beats standing in line for an hour to get them like I did at C2. :D
