What's the Forest Moon of Endor Called?

Okay, If Endor is the forest moon of Endor. What's the moon called? and what does the Endor planet look like and consist of? I've been wondering this since 1983, any help would be nice.

 

Endor is the planets name and it is a gas giant like Jupiter or Yavin.

The Forest Moon of Endor (Endor for short) is the moons name or the 4th Satellite out of the 9 moons.

 

i agree with falcon...i always thought endor was the name of the moon...but as i said in the 3SA, given it is forest moon of endor, it could be read as a forest moon orbiting the planet endor..

yeah, and in all resources and games, it's simply called Endor. And it could be said as the Forest Moon of Endor, with of meaning called. Like, the forest moon named endor.

same thing with Hoth, Isnt Hoth a moon, too?

But you can call Endor the sanctuary moon if you want.

The moon and the planet are both referred to as Endor, because it's easier.


And Hoth is a planet. The sixth planet in the system.

 

This was a REALLY good question.

 

According to the novel the forest moon's parent planet is long gone, I can't remember the exact wording (too lazy to look) but it does say that there was a planet at one time. I'm still not too sure of the moon being a moon of Endor or if the moon is actually called Endor. Hope this helps.

EDIT: OK, I went and looked, the novel says the moon is Endor whose mother planet has long since died.....
