Right before that was my finger I didn't realize there was an exposed wire on my adapter cable for my laptop and tried to pick it up and burned myself. As it happens, burned adapter cable insulation tastes really, really bad so I needed (yes, needed) the rum to rinse the taste out.

Had a sip of my wife's that she ordered at a restaurant a week ago, and couldn't get the wonderful flavour out of my head, so I bought, I think for the first time in my life, a bottle of vodka on Friday. It was for the express purpose of mixing with soda water, limes, mint and a little sugar.

On Wednesday, somebody dug into my mouth with metal appliances, and this miniature circular saw thing, and ripped out a tooth... I'm out of my mind on pain medication.

You put meat in your paella or just seafood?

Personally I avoid chicken... breast meat dries out too much imo, I don't care if it's traditional.

 

I typically just do seafood but I've put in some chorizo on occasion.
