    Right now? Frickin' freezing in the mornings in Melbourne, but once the sun's up it's not too bad. The likelyhood of running into some sort of natural disaster increases exponentially as you near Sydney though. :p

    It's cool in Sydney right now I think it was 18 degrees today, but last week it was fairly warm, in the high 20's. October is a rotten month - windy and cold one day then warm the next. I get the flu every October.

    Oh yeah, it's dark outside too.

    If you come over in October the weather will be wonderful, at the moment its cold, winter is almost with us, but october..spring is in the air and its warming up...

    You mentioned the West Coast, well as an Ex-pat West Aussie, WA is always great to see, October is during the wild flower season so its going to be wonderful over there...

    Not too cold and not too hot...
