JCC What's up (down?) with private spaceflight

And me. I don't automatically preclude the possibility that its impossible, or wildly impractical, I just take the position that we know don't what future insights might cause us to re-asses what we currently think we know and because I'd rather see us try and fail, than not try at all when we might have succeeded because the long term pay-off is potentially so profound.

Would I like to FTL travel to be available in my lifetime? Yes, of course. Is it going to happen? No, probably not. So instead I turn to science fiction.

 

Out of all the topics that could become cancerous, I would never have expected FTL travel to be one.
