Yes, many of you figured it out. The CR demotions were our April fool prank this year, as were most of the banner "glitches." The whole (no message) thing wasn't, it was a real glitch that was just perfectly timed. We started some of this early to try and fool more people better, if it all just happened today you'd get too suspicious.

A couple of the RSAs will be helping me put the banners back up and giving everyone their colors back. Hope we fooled you guys at least a little bit.

well, I didn't get suspicious, most April fools day gags don't start a week before !!!

I guess it should be fixed soon.

I don't mind an April fools day gag as much as the next person, but one that starts half a week before April Fools Day's just silly IMHO. Not really in the spirit of April fools day.

& as April Fools day is well & truly over it'd be nice if the admins restored things again, seems they are having some "technical" problems in doing it, some things have been going wrong...oops

It may have started earlier here but I just got my blue back yesterday and my boards are still bannerless, so I guess I get the lingering after effects as much as you had the meaningless early start!

It's been very funny. . Not. Seems to have upset quite a few people.

 

and, as expected... My load times have doubled.

 

Is a one second page load (or part thereof) slow ?

 

DV loads the SAFF pages at around 3-4 seconds most of the time from what I remember...

 

and i was so enjoying the 1 second page loads.

really, i'm just whinging.
