What's your fav. -wing?

SO, what's your fav. -wing?For me, the series 4 E-wing.But, that's just my opinion.

 

E-Wings, K-Wings, and all those are far too low-profile for my taste to be a favorite

the coolest was always the X-Wing for me. I bought those Micro Machines models of the ships and loved it even before I knew what the meaning of all those ships were.

 

The faster the better .

A-Wing, hands down.

 

It's definitely the Xwing. The design is cool plus it plays a major part in the battle of Yavin, my favorite space fight sequence in the movies.

 

I like to watch X-wings in flight, but in a flight sim, my ship of choice is the A-wing. (The need ... for speed!)

 

X-wings. If it's good enough for Luke Skywalker, it's good enough for me.

 

This brings back some great memories for me. When I was a kid, I always thought the X-Wing was the coolest thing in the world. However, one Christmas, my Uncle got a Y-Wing toy for me, and an X-wing for my brother (the ones from the 80's, mind you). I was always kinda jealous cuz his X-Wing had movable wings, whereas the back part of my Y-wing would always just fall apart. On top of that, he would always make fun of me cuz I would put Luke in the Y-wing. After a while, the cheap little bomb that you could drop from the Y-wing broke in two, and no amount of glue would hold it together. So now I had a Y-wing that was always falling apart, Luke wasn't allowed to fly it, and now the bomb couldn't even be used. Meanwhile, my brother is still rockin' the X-wing. The only advantage I had over him was the fact that I could actually put my Artoo action figure in the Y-Wing. The X-wing back then only had a cheap looking Artoo head that didn't even look like the real thing. Anyhow, I would always try to convince my brother that Y-wings were better the X-wings, even though I knew it wasn't true.

Does anyone else remember how crappy those toy Y-wings were back then?

 

The X-wing. I ALWAYS fly the X-wing whenever I play Rogue Leader.

I think the coolest is definitely the X-Wing. It simply looks awesome. The A-wing has the speed and manuverability so it would almost be up there with the X-wing.

Does anyone else think the B-Wing looks weird and crazy? I know it is a kick butt fighter but it just looks weird.

I've always liked the weirder craft, so my favourites are the B-Wing and Y-Wing.

Yeah I know. I like it coz its the only other rebel fighter with s-foils and it has more firepower than 2 x-wings put together. And how does it look like a B?

 

I think B stands for "blade"

 

Ohhh,that makes a bit more sense.

 

Definitely the A-wing. Although in Rebel Strike I love the Jedi Starfighter. Easily the best.

 

To all who wonder what the "B" in B-wing stands for:
I read somewhere (maybe in the new essential guide to vehicles and ships) that the B-wing was designed to combat the Nebulon-B class frigate. I'm not claiming this to be a fact, however.

Oh, and the B-wing is my fav. This is mainly because it gets like 2 seconds of screen time in RotJ.
