What's your favorite animated Menu from the SW Trilogy DVD?

I haven't seen them all yet, but the ones I've seen I like are the tatoonie Jawa chapter selection. *Hey what are you trying to push on me?!* The General ackbar animated featurettes menu on the Bonus Material disc, outside his window you can see every ship from classic SW wizzing by during the space battle, it gives you a different perspective of what it was like from the general's point of view. I also like the Dagabah, floating rocks menu.

 

When I put in A New Hope this morning (the first disc I put in for the first time), the Binary Sunset menu came up. At that moment, I realized that I was truly a Star Wars fan. I was so excited to see that come up, since it's one of my favorite scenes from the trilogy. I think that because of that experience, it is definitely my favorite menu.

Now, go post this in a DVD thread, or something. The uber!official ones are the ones posted by the guys with the blue names.

 

Mine is definitly the Stills and video game menu. Where it zooms out of Han walking through the falcon.

 

i havent seen them all yet but i loved the new hope one..

 

I thought the Videogames/Stills menu was the most technically impressive.

I think the worst would probably be the Death Star Millenium Falcon with the pointing stormtrooper.

 

I liked the asteroid chase on the Bonus Disc.

I think the Wampa one is impressive.

 

The "language selection/options" menu on Bespin on ESB, with Luke and Vader fighting their way along the platform in the top-left of the screen, shouting things at each other - brilliant.

 

Ooooh, I haven't seen that one yet Mark.

So far my favorite is the Jawa one when R5D4 blows his top way into the sky. Hilarious!

 

My top three favorites out of the ones I've seen so far:

3. Executor Bridge/Vader's Meditation Chamber (Bonus Disc)
2. Speeder Bike Chase (ROTJ)
1. The Death Star surface battle (ANH)

 

Definitely has to be the Dagobah menu from ESB. Seeing R2 get spit out directly into the scream rules!

 

All menus are great....
My no.1 favorite is in TESB--cloud city--"Chapters Selection"
Luke steps step up and down and fight with Vader.

But the best of the best one is on AOTC--Kamino-- "Option Menu" when OB1 block the shot from Boba....

 

I haven´t seen all of them yet...
but i like the Yavin 4 main menu best so far...

 

The asteroid mnu on the bonus disc just made me absolutely hungry for a CG version of the asteroid chase Seeing all those maneuvers was awesome!

 

What about the video game menu. They added CGI legs to Han Solo. He walks really weird, but it's hypnitizing, lol.

 

I love the language death star menu. With the two troopers chatting whilst Obi endlessly lowers the power level on the tractor beam...this could be like a screensaver or something...I watched it like 3-4 minutes the first time

Is it just me or is there some popping at the horizon on the deathstar chapter menu. When one of the y-wings flys through the picture and the camera reveals the horizon of the death star, there is a slight level-of-detail-poppin' going on at the horizon shortly before the animation ends. Looks like the gfx card of the dvd player can't hold up the high framerate/sec and drops to a lower detail level or something like that

 

I loved the Dagobah scene selection with the rocks.

 

I'm changing my number one favorite! It's now the Death Star II Tunnel run!
