Mulholland Dr. is my favorite, though it was a tough descision. Great poll, Son of the Suns!

Anyone who is interested, should join us at the David Lynch thread:

I love Mulholland Dr., and, although it was a tough decision, feel that it's Lynch's best.

The Straight Story was a mighty fine flick. I'm afraid, though, that it's the only one out of this bunch that I've seen. I did see part of the Elephant Man one time, but not enough to fully understand it.

I haven't seen them all, but Wild at Heart is my vote. I love road flicks.

For me, it's either Elephant Man or Lost Highway. But I voted for the latter since it's just so complex.

For me, it's a cross between Dune and Blue Velvet.

I thought Blue Velvet was quite inspired, without including the sadistic sex bondage scene.

Mullholland Drive. I have a big interest in all his films but this is the only one that kept me really entertained. I think it would have worked better as a tv series though...

Mulholland Dr is my favorite David Lynch Film.

Though if we went by television, my absolute favorite David Lynch production is the Twin Peaks pilot episode.

One of my favorite movies of all time is Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me. Horrific, surreal, heartbreaking, tense, original. Equally direct and obtuse. I love this movie. A wonderful achievement to go hand in hand with the famed television series or standing all on its own. I hope someday a definitive version will be released that includes the extra hour! of cut footage. Long live Mr. David Lynch, a true artist!
