His emotional expression looking up at Leia as he is being lowered into the carbon freezing chamber in ESB. So powerful.

So many, but the asteroid field comes to mind straight away. It's pure Han. Succeeding against all odds. A combination of skill and adrenaline, simply making the situation work to his advantage when he's meant to be the one on the back foot.

    My favorite ones are probably:

Leia: "Would it help if I got out and pushed?"
    Han: "It might!"

Han: "I think my eyes are getting better. Instead of a big dark blur, I see a big white blur."
Luke: "You're not missing much, I grew up here remember?"
Han: "You're going to die here you know?"

^That last one might be off a bit.

I enjoyed every moment Han Solo was on the screen in this grand story. I've loved the character since 1977.

For me, and I know I'm in a minority, maybe alone, my favorite moment was his last. When he touched his son's face and evaporated that illusion of hate that had been created about that uncaring, unloving, father that was a lie that Kylo told himself, he weakened him to his dark core. That was the moment, I believe as this story continues, will be revealed as Han's greatest move, not his failure. JMHO.

The one Han moment that cracks me up every time is when he meets C-3PO for the first time, 3PO starts to introduce himself, Han just turns and walks away. Doesn't even need to say a word. Thug life.

In reality it depends on what version you watch, but in my head, Han shot first.

    "Who're you calling scruffy looking?!"
Just for the pure outrage and genuine offense that seems to cause him. Though really he and Leia between them get some of the best repartee in general.

I have so many favorite moments from Han. I think the one that sticks out in my mind is when he tells Luke,"I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. There's no mystical energy field that controls my destiny."
And then in TFA, he answers Rey's question about the Jedi being real and admits he thought it was all a bunch of "mumbo jumbo" and then,"Crazy thing is... it's true. The Force. The Jedi... All of it... It's all true."
I love the parallel there..at first he didn't believe it was a real thing, then he saw that it was.

2/3 is Harrison Ford just pointing. That alone portrays the quality of writing and acting that is the OT.

In ANH there's a real subtle moment after the falcon pulls up on the meteor shower that used to be Alderaan. A lone TIE fighter soars overhead and without even a second's hesitation, Han's instinct is to shoot down and kill the pilot.

Luke: "Yeah he must have gotten lost, been part of a convoy or something."
Han: "Well he ain't going to be around long enough to tell anyone about us..."

For all he knew he could have been an innocent imperial pilot. I understand that they were on the run and they were at risk of being caught, but it's a small moment that speaks a lot to who Han is as a character at that point in time. A real scoundrel.
