CT What's your favorite little moment or detail in CT?

I never thought about this! Agh, my heart. I used to know but I've forgotten: what is the time span between ESB and RotJ? Around a year?

 

I thought it was around 6 months.

 

Another reason why I love this scene: Pay attention to Jerjerrod at around 1:29-1:35. His face is blank, expressionless. It's like he's not even remotely listening to the conversation between Vader and Sidious. These guys are so beyond him, he doesn't even attempt to take an interest in their plans. Not like he really should, but he knows to stay out of the way when it comes to the dark side. All he can do is hope to not displease the Emperor.

 

The opening of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

 

Sarge, knowing you military background I hope you did not hear people say that a lot, I had a cousin who got very lucky when a accidential discharge happened to one of his squadmates during basic.

 

I've never heard that said for real; only as a really weak alibi for somebody getting murdered on TV. Basic training is very very strict about safety procedures with all weapons, so I'm surprised that there was any accidental discharge. And I can guarantee there was a thorough investigation and review of the procedures to make sure that whatever went wrong in your cousin's squad won't happen again.

 

Oh yeah there was. This was in the late nineties. The other guy got in a lot of trouble after the investigation. There D.I. got in a bit too. Also while I used the term basic this was not in the usa but israel.

 

A mother and daughter's shared irritation about committees.

Another is Palpatine's face when he says "as will your friends." He just loves being evil.

 

Darth Vader's singular scene with Captain Antilles. Memorable and very quotable.
"If this a consular ship, then where is the ambassador?"

 

Agent K's reaction at about 17 seconds is how Obi-Wan should have reacted to this lol

 

"Blah blah blah blah blah."

"You must be able to get a reading on that shield, up or down."

"Blah blah blah?"

"How could they be jamming us, if they don't know... if we're coming." Oh, ****! "Home One from Gold Leader, break of the attack! The shield is still up!"

 

The music in that scene is one of my favorite pieces in all of ROTJ - maybe the whole trilogy.

I really love all the little lights in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, it reminds me of being a kid and riding in a car at night and seeing all the lights on the dashboard

 

Wow, so many! My favorite though is the scene in TESB when the Millennium Falcon flies through the asteroid field and John Williams' music is superb in creating a feeling of adventure and thrill!

 

B'omarr brain spider in ROTJ is another one

 

Bossk and Piett's argument. Tells you everything about the place of Imperial Officers and Bounty Hunters in Imperial society. I wonder what Bossk was saying. Perhaps it was, "Those would be your last words if Vader wasn't in the room."

 

Speaking of Piett, I love the glare Ozzel gave Piett just after Vader ordered Veers to ready his troops. It was like he was saying, "Watch your step, Captain."

Well, Piett got the last laugh, so to speak.

 

I just noticed this while watching a clip of ROTJ on Youtube, during the ending celebration when Luke returns to the party and him & Leia hug watch Chewie and Lando in the background it looks like Chewie is teaching him to dance lol then a few shots later, Lando looks like he gives chewie a high five I guess he finally got it down lol

 

I just noticed this. I was looking for another moment in Episode V. I found this instead.
In these two scenes, there is a circular passageway with lights. As you can tell, there are two Skywalkers here: Luke and Leia.
