My favorite part was the march on the Jedi Temple. What was yours?
I like it as a whole. It's reminiscent of the "baptism" scene in The Godfather. It works as a whole.
The part when Yoda senses an attack and responds before the clone troopers can shoot.
I like part where Aayla Secura actually gets her own screen time, but that soon changes into my least favourite part...
Probably Jedi Temple...it's been a long time, and Order 66 was sad so there isn't much to LIKE...
Actually the scene which was more reminiscent of the baptism scene in Godfather is the part when Sidious declares the "First Galactic Empire" to the senate intercut with Vader cutting down all of the seperatists on Mustafar. To me, that is the most powerful scene of the whole purge at the end of the film. Order 66 is really good, but its just more sad. Sidious in the senate intercut with Vader killing the seperatists is probably one of the greatest moments of the saga bar none.
My favorite moment of Order 66 is Ki-Adi Mundi's death.
This one for me too. When Ki-Adi realizes what's happening is sort of the moment when you realize its all over for the Jedi. Also I feel that bit symbolizes the whole Purge. The attempt to regroup & fight back before they are annihilated.
The part where Vader goes into the council room, then the younglings come up to him, but he just wordlessly activates his lightsaber.
And people still don't care about sandpeople children.
My favourite as well.
Palpatine's words to Anakin and then Anakin and the clones marching on the Temple.
"Every single Jedi including your friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi, are now enemies of the Republic."
Boom. Bam. That line right there made me feel a decent amount of dread and foreboding.
Ki Adi Mundi's face when he turns to the clones is heartbreaking. He knows that he is going to die. Tut, poor guy!
I love when Yoda drops his cane and looks really upset and confused and the music swells in the background...work really well intersected with the death scenes.
I like the Obi-Wan attack. I like when Obi-Wan rides off on that thing and then the Clones fire at him and there's only the music. It's so emotional.
But I love the whole scene. It's one of the most powerful scenes of the entire saga.
Ki-Adi-Mundi on Mygeeto.
March on the temple
The dropping of Yoda's cane. It all hits home at that point, the master who had told Anakin to "let go of everything" he feared to lose loses just about everything he cares about.
Very sad. In terms of scenery, it was neat seeing Saleucami, just in terms of a setting.
Plo-Koon in his starfighter even though the way he died sucked. Nothing about order 66 is my favorite.
Personally i thought a Jedi would be able to outpilot a clone trooper.
It's hard to choose one part as the whole scene is so amazing, and the music deserves a special mention. If I had to pick one bit, it would probably be Ki-Adi Mundi, perhaps because we get to see more of his reaction than we do with most of the others.
I'd like to see this 'avatar' planet
the scene where that Jedi dies.
Have you seen the deleted scene?! It's much more harsh! He ejects his exploding starfighter and they shoot him out of the air!
No i have not seen that. Spoiler alert lol JK. I need to buy the blu-ray.
Shot at out of cockpit harsh being shot with laser in mid-air.
My favourite moment in Order 66 is when Bail Organa is turned away by the Clones at the burning Temple. The colours, the music, the defeat in Bail's voice is very powerful as they turn the Jedi into an enemy of the Empire in that one moment.
That, and Anakin leading the Clones towards the Temple. Very Vader-esque.
The very first show of Obi-Wan and the lizard falling down the sinkhole. The creature's screaming adds hair raising emotion as the music plays in. Very powerful shot made even better by the knowledge that Obi-Wan would survive to train Luke Skywalker to overthrow the evil that causes Order 66 in the first place.
