Whats your favorite Sound FX from each episode?

The Saga is full of some of the coolest, strangest, and most unique sound fx in cinema history. I thought it would be cool if everyone wanted to list there favorites from each episode.

Here's mine.

ANH
1.Luke's lighsaber deflecting the shots from the practice orb on the Falcon.
2.The proton torpedoes going into the DS exhaust port.
3.The turbo lasers on the DS.
4.DS exploding
ESB
1.Vader's breathing
2.The AT-AT's walking.
ROTJ
1.When the main reactor collapses in the DS2.
2.The sound of the wind "whoosing" when DV throws Palpy down the shaft.
3.Han's carbonite cell melting.
TPM
1.When the TF tank bullets bounce off the Gungan shield.
2.Droidekas lasers shooting.
3.The Naboo fighter engines.
4.Sebulba's pod racer engine.
5.The whole podrace sequence.
AOTC
1.Seisemic Charges from the Slave 1.
2.The engines from the transport ships in the arena battle.
3.The whole droid factory sequence.
4.The Clone Trooper transports(early StarDestroyers) lifting off at the end of the movie.
5.The sail openning on Dooku's ship.

 

There is only one true sound effect... the Wilhelm Scream!

 

I love that scream.

 

Mine are The Wilhelm scream, The lighsaber sound fx and Vader's breathing.

 

Episode I- The sound of the spinning Darth Maul Lightsaber]

Episode II- Siesmic Charge




Episode IV--- Darth Vader Breathing

Episode V Vader's light saber

Episode VI---- Speeder Bikes

Spinning lightsabers, seismic charges, wooooping noises in the cockpit, and droids whistling, oh my!

ESB: Tantaun noises, AT-AT walkers
ROTJ: Ewok noises, Speeder Bike noises
TPM: STAPs
AOTC: Gunship engines, Seismic Charges, Jango's blaster

And that annoying scream that's in almost every movie now...

 

Ep1: The podracers,
ep2: Sesmic Charges, the Ackley scream
anh: The proton torpedo
esb: That one door closing behind luke in bespin
rotj: the wilhem

 

Overall the seismic charges.

Or possibly the sound of Jar jar being slapped about.

Its got to be, in no specific order and applicable to all films they are in:

Vaders breathing - awesome

Lightsabers - everything about them

TIE-fighters flying by - is it just me or do they sound brilliant

The sound of the engines on the Falcon

ESB
The "speech" of the probe droid

ROTJ
The sound of Luke's saber being ignited.

 

The sound of Darth Maul pushing Obi-wan during the fight with qui Gon in epI.

 

I like Vader's voice and the lightsaber sounds.

 

My overall favorites:

TPM: err.....the sound of flesh being burned as the solid beam of energy SLICES through Darth mauls bones and singed skin!!! Muhahahaha!!!! sorry....ummm...
Podracer Engines....yeah pod engines.

AOTC: Yodas battle cry as he lunges toward Dooku aaannnddd.....Mace windu saying "this party's over." (does that count?)

ANH: T.I.E. (Twin Ion Engine) "screaming"
and.....Vaders breathing.

ESB: Lukes huge NOOOOOOOOO!!!! scream and also Han being frozen in Carbonite.

ROTJ: Ewok noises. i LOVE those teddy bears with sticks. and....what else....oh yeay, the whole emperor explosion whoosh thing when Vader throws him down the pit.


Throughout the whole thing, i love the Lightsaber sounds and all of Chewbaccas noises.

Ep.1: Sebubla's pod as it flies by.
Ep.2: seismic charges, defintely
Ep.4:the blaster crossfire in the Tantive IV's corridors
Ep.5: Vader's sabre igniting and the whump of his helmet being replaced on his head
Ep.6: the snap-hiss of Luke's new sabre.

5- Han getting frozen and tortured

The lightsaber sounds rule . That's pretty much it.

 

1. Subulba's Pod (that diesel engine sound)
2. The sound of Dooku's lightsaber when he ignites it to fight Yoda.

4. The Jawa's saying "ootini!!"
5. The Carbonite Chamber sounds
6. The droid that answers Jabba's door.

 

I agree. It has to be the lightsaber sound fx. From the ignition sounds, to the duel fx they just sound really good (and evil )

 

Or could it be the sound Jar Jar makes in Ep1 after Qui-Gon does the Vulcan neck pinch on him....silence.
