Is it Spaceballs,Troops or Hardware Wars? What's your favorite Star Wars gag from another film like Hot Shots! or Austin Powers?

My favorite Star Wars spoof is Spaceballs.

My favorite gag from another movie is when Lloyd Bridges and Saddam Hussien fight with lightsabers in Hot Shots! Part Duex.

Please recomend your favorite Star Wars spoofs and gags. :D

    Definately Thumb Wars.

As for a gag? Definately the "independent contractors for the death star" argument in Clerks. Love that flick.

    The Picnic

I like the "mini movies" There's one where it shows a group of stormtroopers patrolling Tatooine in the format of the "Cops" TV show...

They try to settle a dispute between two Jawas who can't seem to agree on where a droid part came from...

Anyway, one tries to run and they blow him away, then the other tries to run and they waste him, too!

    HA HA HA!!

Then the shooter talks to the camera again like it's all in a days' work.

    Good stuff.

There's another one where Lucas stabs Jar-Jar's tongue into a bar with a fork after firing him.

    (snicker)

The mini-movie you were talking about is 'Troops' and the Jar Jar tongue thing is 'Jar Jar's Walking Papers'. My favorite though, has to be R2-D2 Beneath the Dome.

    All you need is love!

I have only seen Thumb Wars once and I don't remember it so it's not that. I liked Troops a lot. I also liked Jar Jar's Walking Papers, but I'm going to have to say my favorite Star Wars spoof was an episode of the Muppet Babies. It was funny, clever, and now to me anway, classic.

    Gotta be Spaceballs ;)

    Favorite gag in a movie?

    Oh my gosh:

Mark Hamill (after having his humongous hand cut off): "Dangit! Not again!"

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back baby...

    "George Lucas gonna sue somebody"

    Classic. ;)

By far the most ingeniuous was in an episode of News Radio. It was kind of dream sequence segment where Dave was dreaming in geekland. Anyways they did a fantastic news segment covering the Death Star explosion taking the side of the Empire. ..."Our hearts go out to all those who lost loved ones in this horrible tragedy...."
    Fantastic!

Nothing beats the MAD magazine parodies

    Luke "I love you father"
Vader "And I should believe that? All those lightyears (sic) you never phoned or sent a postcard"

Lando "Luke's leg will soon be re-attached"
Leia "I thought he lost his hand?"
Lando "yes, but he lost his leg when I tried to pull him into the spaceship"

Luke "you look exactly like an Oscar statue"
3PO "then you better take a good look at me as you'll never be as close to one again after appearing in THIS film with THIS performance"

Admiral Ackbar "And to destroy the Death Star we use the SAME secret strategy as in all the other films. What is it Audience?"
Audience (unisono) "you create a distraction and then one of ships will shoot the reactor which causes the space station to explode!!!"

Han Solo "I think we found the secret entrance to the Endor reactor"
Big sign over the reactor building "SECRET ENTRANCE TO SECRET REACTOR. ENTRY FEE ADULTS 2 DOLLARS, CHILDREN 1 DOLLAR, REBELS 20 DOLLARS. SECRET T-SHIRTS ON SALE"

Saw a hillarious Star Wars parody recently, not sure what it was called though. But boy, I tell ya, it was HILLARIOUS!! If this sounds familiar, please, let me know what it was...

It was, like... they had Darth Vader, right? But instead of being all scary and stuff he was played by this TOTAL loser! Seriously, the guy looked like that N'Sync kid who thinks he's Michael Jackson! Funny!

Oh! Ooh! And remember how everyone used to make fun of the sidekicks and stuff? Well, this movie had this big frog-lookin' thing that kept falling all over itself and making these AWFUL jokes! Hysterical!!!

Best part! Y'know how people always tease scifi movies about alien voices?? This movie had the DUMBEST voices ever just to be funny! Like these two bad aliens, they made them sound like when really bad comedians try to fake a Japanese accent! And this other alien, it talked like a Nascar announcer! Can you believe it!!??

So, uh... yeah. Did anyone else see this?
