    X-Wing! It's a great design, and it's well-balanced. I think the X-Wing game strategy guide summed it best when it said the ship had 'deadly grace'.

    Within that list the A-wing is the fastest and the B-wing is the most manuvarable. The X-wing is way low tech by the time of the NJO. The E-wing is better then the X-wing in every way. The X-wing is an old school fighter. It's meant for old fart fighter pilots. 8-} [face_devil]

    Tie Defenders have shields and a hyperdrive, but if you want me to vote on what's just in the movies, it'd have to be a TIE Interceptor. Sleek, fast, and upgradable for officers.

    The most awesome thing about the original "X-Wing" videogame was that you could take down a STARDESTROYER with a single A-Wing...
