What's your favourite DC animated series?

Batman: The Animated Series for me.

 

My schoolday afternoons used to be defined by an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. I loved it.

Sorry, but I've got to go against the tide here. Batman TAS was absolutely classic, but in terms of storytelling, animation (especially the animation) and pretty much all the rest of it, those guys really got better as they went on. Nostalgia aside, JLU is the superior series.

And I don't see why Justice League and JLU are seperated. For all intents and purposes, they're the same series. I

I'm going with Justice League, just because I never really watched any DC cartoons, except for that one occasionally.

Okay, I watched Batman: TAS too, but I remember liking the old 60s live-action series more.

 

"Batman Beyond". Definately.

 

i like Batman The Animated Series and Superman The Animated Series both, err...but here i resolved to vote for the Superman Series

Batman: The Animated Series. I was in love with that show... and really pissed when Batman Beyond took over. It was annoying and I did not like it. I was watching pokemon yesterday and I saw an ad for a newer batman cartoon called "The Batman." FIrstly, the title seems really dumb, but he did look much more like classic batman (although all the villians looked really weird) so maybe it won't be too bad.

 

Batman: The Animated Series, without a doubt. The only other show I liked that's listed would be JLU, but that still doesn't match the greatness of BTAS. I didn't even care for The New Batman Adventures either, and that was the follow-up to BTAS.

 

I voted for JLU, because it was like Batman TAS, but more grown up. Bats has some of his best moments in it. I loved beyond. Especially ROTJ.


And The Batman is perhaps the worst batman related thing I've ever seen. Far worse than the Batusi(sp?).

Yes, it was just that good.

 

Justice League perhaps. It really seemed like a culmination of the whole DC Animated Universe. Or at least the specific continuity of a number of many related series.
