His body of work is impressive. I'm a heterosexual male, but Ewan's performance in "The Pillow Book" left me...in awe.

You know he's making a new movie! He's gonna be in Stormbreaker a movie based on a British kids book. Well teen book sorta. He will feature in the £25 million blockbuster alongside a cast of Hollywood stars. It's British.
Though I voted for other because of ROTS. Though I don't understand why some people don't liek him. He is the best actor in PT.. (PT because Harrison Ford in OT)

Velvet Goldmine with Trainspotting not far behind.

Sheesh, I feel like the only person who didn't like Moulin Rouge. [face_worried]

I think he's so hott when he's so innocent! It makes me want to lay him right there! When he's going " poetry reading" I'm going " sure, I can think of a few positions for him to read in although I don't think he'd be doing much reading at that point!"

I'd say either Brassed Off or Young Adam. Those two films are the best examples of his great acting. I also like him in Nora (the film about James Joyce and his wife). And finally, he did a great job in ROTS.

    Besides:

His body of work is impressive. I'm a heterosexual male, but Ewan's performance in "The Pillow Book" left me...in awe.

    Absolutely agree.

Though you didn't have the 2 i loved other then Black Hawk Down...

    Big Fish (classic tear-jerker, yet funny)and ROTS(self-explanetory)

EDIT: i actually found him quite funny in BHD... while men where dying in combat, he asks his seargent for coffee... that he is making instead of killing... That was classic right there

You're not alone, imperial_dork! I didn't particularly care for Moulin Rouge myself! And I did like Velvet Goldmine a lot. I think it's been vastly underrated and underappreciated by people who don't seem to get that it's fiction! (Even though it's loosely based on real '70s glam-rock icons...)

The Island. Though I do like the SW-PT, I cannot deny his role Lincoln Six Echo the credit he deserves. Plus it's a good movie.

Including TPM and AOTC isn't distorting the votes at all is it;)
Anyways, I still believe Trainspotting is his best work. The last scenes in it where he's walking away with Born Slippy in the background. His Choose Life monologue, fantastic!

The Island. It was a brilliant movie and he was great in it as well. Of course I love the SW movies, but I think with him as a basis, The Island was better.
