    The Omen. Cause it's true.

The nanny hanging herself was well scary.

I won't have the movie Hallowe'en in my house. Just in case!

Umm... strange as it may seem... Gremlins... based on the fact that I watched it for the first time when I was about 6 or 7 or something and it scared the crap outta me... yet only a couple years later I sat and watched Nightmare on Elm Street with no problems... hmm...

    The original Salems Lot, yes.

    (1) When the Glick boy is floating at the window and scratching (waaaaaaaa that noise)

    (2) When the undertaker is in the B&B all vamped up sitting in the rocking chair

    (3) When the Vamp dude gets the guy in the cell

    (4) When Mark's parents get got by the Vamp after his cloak floats into the room

But there is a funny bit though...near the end, when David Soul and the chappy Mark are in the house and Mark runs through the door and falls down cuz there's no room there...LOL

Didn't have a problem watching The Shining, but Salem's Lot was a bit whacked. Hallowe'en is all about suspence, and that's where good horrow films should get off on, not blood and gore...

Salem's lot scared the Jeebus out of me too Arun. Cass I completely sh@ myself at number 3

But I watched the Shining the other day and thought it was majorly disappointing. The only freaky thing was the twins. Never seen Hallowe'en though.

Though I don't get that scared by films

    Andy...watch Hallowe'en.

I can't watch it on my own or when its dark. Even the music gives me the creeps.

Oh feck...now I have the music in my head!

    Feckers!

    Dunno how true it is...

...but the mask that Michael Myers wears in Hallowe'en, is a Capt Kirk mask, sprayed white.

...and no...this isnt one of Jon's made-up truths. We heard it on TV.

I like scary movies they are funny and you laugh at them ha ha and then afterwards when your friends go home you turn on all the lights in the house and can't sleep :D

But movie that scare me are Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and anything with Julia Roberts - those teeth! Ahhhh!

I was gonna buy it on DVD, cos most places have it for like a tenner now. Just haven't got round to it.

Another chilling one I thought - Silence of the Lambs.

I get more scared by things that can actually happen...like the good old slasher movies...

Monster movies, although they freak me out at the time, don't really scare me that much.

The scariest film that I've ever seen isn't a horror film. I don't particularly like the Horror genre... most probably because my imagination is waaaay too active! ;)

For me the scariest film is 'Sleeping with the Enemy'
<everyone looks at each other going 'Huh?'>

It's an early Julia Roberts film - she plays a wife trying to escape from an abusive hubby.

Scared the bejesus out of me when I was 17 and still gives me the creeps even now!! If you've seen the film, it will no doubt make a lot more sense - especially if you're female...

    <shudders>

The TV movie Fatal Vision scared the bejebus out of me. I was nine years old and at the end they said he would be eligible for parole soon. I thought he would come and try to kill me.
