I've been thinking today that it would be interesting to meet up with everyone one day. but since this forum is worldwide...it'll be next to impossible, hanging out with my chance of ever getting a complete vader costume. so we is everyone from? you know there has to be one of these threads in ever section...even though i'm sure its already been done here, too.

I know we have had at least two of these threads since I have been here. But for the record I am in Greater London, UK, out near Heathrow Airport.

 

I'm game. I'm in the Netherlands and live in a town called Hengelo. Just look up Amsterdam on a map and go 160 km. straight east .

 

I am living and working in the Upper East Side, Manhattan, NYC, New York, USA...

However, i am Boston, Massachusetts born and raised, and New England is where my heart truly lies.

 

I grew up in Connecticut and lived there until 1989, then I moved here to the UK. (Job-related move).

I currently live in Mobile, Alabama...which, if you've been watching the Weather Channel this year, you might recongize as being down in the massive hurricane magnet we like to call the Gulf Coast.

I'm not originally from here though, I've jumped around quite a bit and neither of my parents are actually from the South. As a result I'm not exactly a typical Southerner, and would probably be laughed at by the locals if I ever claimed to be. The majority of my life has been spent along the Gulf Coast though...anywhere from New Orleans (where I went to college) to Tampa, Florida (where I spent my elementary school years).

I'm living in San Antonio, Texas. I moved up from a much smaller town called Harlingen, Texas, which is about the southernmost tip of the continental US.

 

I split my time between the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Fort Greene of Brooklyn. The former offers nothing for a collector, but the latter provides some hope.

 

i'm from the mighty town of Birmingham, England. lived there practically all of my life, my oldest son even goes to my old senior (high?) school, and has some of my old teachers LOL!

 

While I have serious doubts about us all gathering together from the four corners of the globe, it might be interesting to know who's hunting for figures in your own neck of the woods. I imagine two would have far better luck than one at finding those Tarkins or Utaupaun Shadowtroopers.


While born and 1/2 raised in Framingham, MA, I currently reside in Chino Hills, California which is about 40 minutes away from Los Angeles. I hit all the Targets, K-Marts, Wal-Marts, and ToysRUs's within the San Gabriel and Chino Valley area.
