Hey all, since we learned a little from each other with the "What do you want under the tree" topic. I thought we might share here.

    1. to eat healthier, exercise and do more outdoor activities with kids. ( I have seemed to gain enough weight to make all my clothes uncomfortable and I am not going to buy new, bigger clothes. Ugh!)

    2. To learn to drive. Yes, I am 36yrs and do not drive. I am completely terrified to drive. Anyone know a cheap driving instructor? LOL!

    3. to do more things socially and get out of in front of my tv.

    4. to do more artistically. I have all these great ideas and can't seem to make the time to try and do them. Ugh!

    5. to keep my house clean enough that I could have company over at a moments notice without being embarassed.

    6. to finish many small projects I have started around the house.
    7. to get a new bank, so I can learn to balance my check book right. LOL! I hate my bank!
    8. Learn 5 new things. don't care what yet, could be knitting, a souffle, a plastic model, something.
    9. Spend more quality time with family. Alone with each kid and then alone with hubby and as a family.
    10. to do more stuff and make more time for me. I tend to neglect me or spend me time doing unconstructive things (like watching tv or eating.)
    11. to be a better person and not let my little paranoias keep me away from doing things I want to do or stop me from being who I am.

I always overshoot and well if I can do some of these or just even try them I will be happy!
    Happy New Year!
    Leash

To do the best that I can possibly do in all facets of my life. Ambitious, no?

EDIT: OMG Amy you better follow through on that. I do not want you dying anytime soon. [face_plain]

Man oh man, I sound like the textbook example of typical new years resolutions, but here they go:

    1. Quit smoking (again!)

    2. Lose weight (again! I lost 10 lbs last new years, and promptly gained it all back! Grrr...)

    3. Get more organized (got a filling cabinet 6 months ago, but still haven't filled anything... Current excuse - I don't like the color, so I'm waiting to paint it. Next excuse coming soon!)

    4. Save more money/spend less on stupid stuff

    5. Be a better wife/mother/friend

Okay, my idea to get into better shape may not be such a good idea. Tim and I played raquetball yesterday and today and my right arm is so sore....it's shaking just trying to type and click the mouse. It hurts to brush my teeth. And I thought my arms were the last thing I needed to work on.o_O

I only have three resolutions right now, but I may think of more later.

    1. lose weight. ( I need to do this so I will be in better shape before I test for the police academy.)

    2. find a job.

    3. Save money. ( If I get accepted into an auxiliary police officers unit I will need money to buy more gear.)

I just read a magazine this week and instead of calling a resolution, they suggested calling it Intentions for 2006. Heres a few of mine.

    1. Defeat and conquer my illness.

    2. Who couldn't stand to lose a few pounds?

    3. Get organized and stay that way.

    4. Start a scrapbook of my daughter to be completed by the time she graduates highshool in 2007. (birth to 18)

    5. Work more in the yard and improving our landscape.

    6. Eventually to make a St Louis FF meeting.

    1.)Gain weight
    2.)Start Smoking
    3.)Spend more money
This way I'm not a failure, and if I am I'm not one. I think maybe I should go into politics?

    2. Quit procrastinating and start my new career training rather than working here in this call center
    3. Quit smoking
    4. Get rich!
    5. Buy more Star Wars stuff that I don't need
    6. Go to at LEAST one STLFF meeting, I keep getting busy on those days
