1. A-Wing - Simple, sleek design. Always liked it best since I was a kid.

2. X-Wing - The classic. I loved the slight redesign in TFA.

3. Naboo Starfighter - I remember first falling in love with this ship back when I played Rogue Squadron on the N64.

Honorable mention: Vulture droid - Really creative and interesting design.

Tie Fighters have always been my favorite, along with the Tie Interceptors. I also really love Kylo Ren's big shuttle he uses in The Force Awakens, love the shape of it! (I seem to like the bad guy fighters. )

 

1. Y wing - one of the great things about the ships in ANH is how they all feel like part of a real, lived in universe. Nothing encapsulates that better for me than the Y wing with its worn, stripped down look. Also, I loved seeing them in their prime in Clone Wars S1E3.

2. Tie interceptor - I prefer the more streamlined look of this model over the original tie. All the tie ships are interesting though in that they don't look anything like real aircraft, which is cool.

3. Republic gunship - the engine sound for these things is amazing and instantly recognizable. Visually it looks like the classic Russian Mi82 Hind helicopter, with the double bubble canopy.
