I know what gentling is but what is binding? People are referring to it in the context of man and woman, Aes Sedai and Warder....is it like marriage?

    BONDING!!! :D :D

Gotta love bonding. It's when the Aes Sedai weaves saidar and creates a psychic - or rather, empathic - bond between herself and her warder. They can't read each other's minds, but they're always aware of what the other is feeling, and can even point in the general direction of where that person is (when separated). If the bond is broken (usually by the death of one of them), then the other person is VERY distraught - to the point where Warders will often commit suicide, and the Aes Sedai won't bond another Warder (or will wait an unbelievably long time to do so).

Have I confused everyone yet? [face_laugh]

you got most of it kreleia, the men also get strengh and stamina increases from being bonded, and both parties have the ability to draw power from the other...

and gentling is when an aes sedai permenantly (not really permanent anymore, it can be healed) cuts of a man who can channel from using teh power. they usually commit suicide shortly after this happens

WOT whos who after death in order of Revocation of life privlages.

Balthamel becomes Osan'Gar who mascarades as Dashiva
    Aginor becomes Aran'Gar
Bel'al is Balefired and is very dead.
    Ishmael becomes Moradin
Asmodean is just dead. maybe killed by Luc?
    Lanfear becomes Cyndane.
Rhavin and Sammale are Balefired and are all the way dead.

Some new theorys Proven and that I picked up.

It takes Saidin to heal the ability to channel Saidar fully, and it takes Saidar to fully heal the ability to channel Saidin.
I have a theory that Leane and Suiane are going to get stilled and healed to full again. <--- I'd go through the pain for the power.

I am having caniption fits trying to figure out Verin. Both she and Cadsuane are something tricky.... very tricky.

Cyndane gives confirmation to Mins viewing about the return of Morianne. In winters heart she gives mention of being held by the Elefinn and Alefinn.

I have a feeling that a greatdeal of the Damane will be freed when It becomes known that Tuon, Daughter of the Nine Moons and Wife of Mat, can channel. Cause mat won't put up with it... Then again, he might....

    :)
now, you know what I do with my time....

Okay, you know you're obsessed when you start dreaming WoT. Yes, kids, it happened today. While I was bed-ridden for most of the day trying to regain some semblance of strength (and begging Rob to come home from work early), I dreamed about Rand cleansing saidin. How scary is that!? (and it was an *interesting* dream) [face_laugh] I've been passionately reading "Path" for hours since then, trying to get it finished. I only have 2½ chapters left. I can hardly wait to jump into "Winter's Heart"!!

EEK!!! :) :D I just finished the prologue in "Winter's Heart" and - OMG!!! The whole re-birthing of Elayne and Aviendha... **tears up** WOW!!! **sniff** It's amazing!! The first time I read it, I was pregnant, and I just started bawling. This time, no bawling, but the tears were there. :) :) That whole scene is just absolutely incredible!!! Definitely one of my faves in the entire series!

Well, you've all done it. You've forced me to go out and pick up a copy of The Eye of the World. Of course, I have to get caught up with the current Doctor Who novels first, then The New Jedi Order .... But I can sleep now knowing I have a series to fall back on!
