When did Lucas record the commentary for OT DVDs?

When did Lucas record the audio commentary for the OT DVDs?

I heard he has already recorded them.... it's interesting to know when he did it....you might be able to measure by the date how much he may give away about plot aspects concerned with ROTS.

 

I made a comment in the dvd thread that it must be some kind of a record: 4 dvd threads locked in 1 day. Could this be 5?

Isn't this discussing something different than the subject of OT DVD's? I'm asking a time-related question.

Hard to say. As an equivalent example, Peter Jackson recorded his commentary tracks for each of the LOTR Extended Editions about 9 months before the release of those DVDs.

So he could've recorded them "whenever" really.

 

Sorry if I came off as rude, Cappo. I don't think that the one dvd thread rule is the best system, but it is the one in place. The mods want all dvd discussion (commentaries included) to go in the one thread to rule them all.

500 pages is a bit much for someone looking for info or wanting to discuss one little thing, rather than this really big thing that consists of alot of little things.

 

Seems this thread has its own commentary.
