Canada When do tickets for AOTC go on sale here?

Ive been saying all along tixs will be on sale one week prior... this Thursday... anyone care to place any bets???

 

Hello everyone..I'm new here and my sheer desperation has caused me to stop lurking...

When I go to www.movietickets.com and log on it says "No showtimes available for May 16" for my theatre but there's an ad saying "Attack of the Clones tickets on sale now..." Anyone know what's going on?

*confused and desperate on how to get tickets*

Also I am going to be working all day next Thursday which is when they most likely will go on sale, but it shouldn't be a problem as I can probably purchase them online right? Just checking...

 

movietickets.com isn't lying. they do have tickets on sale, but only a selected number of theatres.

 

Assuming that it IS on Thursday, do you think there will be a specific time, as there was in 1999?

It was 3:00pm, May 12th, 1999, if I am not mistaken.

I hope it's three o'clock again this year.

 

In '99, Cineplex Odeon in Saskatoon sold tickets starting at 1:00 pm. I would guess they will do the same this time.

 

Tickets went onsale for TPM at noon in '99. I think the times were staggered across canada if i remember correctly. and i'm pretty sure here in BC they went on sale 2 weeks before the movie opened.

 

Well, I'm back from work, after checking out the situation at the local Famous Players here in Winnipeg. Like most are saying, they're not selling today, nor do they have a set date.

 

I know for a fact tix went on sale for TPM one week prior to it opening... least for SilverCity/Famous Players in BC....
I have my stub... which says I bought it on May 12 for the May 19th 1201 showing...

 

yeah i have my stub too for SilverCity Guildford. i also bought it on may 12th.

Actually, Saskatoon AOTC tix went on sale this afternoon at 12 pm. I went to see Spidey last night and they were advertising the tix. So after Spidey, I camped out, then my brother took over for me when I went to work. I have my 12:01 am tix. YAY!
