I saw an interesting idea somewhere that suggested that the Enterprise might someday, in its deep space exploration, come across the ruins and remnants of the Star Wars galaxy. Can you imagine Kirk exploring Korriban/Moriband?

It is set within the same universe as our world and according to the New Essential Chronology or another source the universe was created 13,5 billion years ago (from the perspective of a historian in the Star Wars galaxy in 100 ABY or so) while today in real life it is presumed to be 13,7 billion years old which means that Star Wars is set 200 million years ago to explain that difference.

So far, this is the only implication I have found.
