    Reposted from Saga:

When somebody that isn't a Force user in the GFFA dies, do they also become "One with the Force"? Does it depend on if they've been good or evil? Or is the Force something that only Jedi become "one with"? How about Sith? What does the EU tell us about this?

Palpy unleashed a Force storm when he died. So did that Lord Nyax. Even though he started one before he died.

Well, I have no idea what you just said. Anyway, I would assume that 'becoming one with the force' is not limited to jedi, but it's rather like heaven. I believe that the Jedi, however, are the only ones who can retain their identity within the force.

Or maybe it's just that Jedi are the only ones who know how to contact the living, not that they're the only ones who can retain their identity. I'm not fond of the thought of "That's all, folks!"
