"When will my Pm's be deleted?"...

I have 20+ pages of PM's and I'm wondering when they are going to be deleted. When I first registered someone said they were to be deleted every 6 months, it has been about 8. When will the all go away?

I think Spike is correct. I don't think they ever get deleted. A mod might be better at answering this...

 

I still have PMs from 7/24/01, so the six month rule obviously isn't true. And it obviously doesn't matter how many you have, 'cause I have too many to count. ( )

They get deleted eventually. I've been a member since June of 2000, but my PMs only go back to 3/02/01. That's slightly over sixteen months, and I know I have sent and received PMs from way before then.

So, my guess is approximately 16 months. Do any other "oldbies" have a PM history that confirms or denies that?

Hmmm, my PMs, both sent and read, go back to 3/01/01 (on page 90 for both [face_shocked] ) I remember sending and getting PMs before that.

Mine go back to the 19th of March 2001. Somewhat like yors Nat.

Trying to think of why it might be, but I am not coming up with much.
