"From the mind of George Lucas" All Lucas wanted to do was make a "Shrek movie". It all makes sense now.

 

That looks nothing like Shrek. Stylistically or thematically.

 

Overly realistic cartoon characters, crude jokes, pop humor in a fantasy setting.

Praying that the teaser debuts Thanksgiving day so I can sob tears of joy over sweet, delicious turkey

 

I'd say there's no way we're going to see anything on or before Thanksgiving (which is less than a week away).

 

The turkey isn't enough to cause tears of joy?

Disney XD ran a behind-the-scenes feature for Age of Ultron during the premiere airing of Spark of Rebellion. That doesn't mean they will run the trailer with the episode on the 24th, but there is precedent here.

 

If they want to put it out on a big special day that will guarantee the world will see it, then Thanksgiving ain't the day.

Similar to how the SuperBowl doesn't really mean anythig outside of America, thanksgiving is just another day everywhere else in the world.

Christmas Day would be the ideal, logical day to choose.

Actually TODAY would be the ideal day, but you know what I mean

The animation in Strange Magic looks beautiful. Also, we have our first glimpse (I think) at the new Lucasfilm logo that will debut in front of TFA.

 

I agree if we're talking store bought turkey. I kill my own and then have it smoked. I hunt all my meat except for beef and chicken, and I get that from a couple guys that raise their own livestock steroid and hormone free. Unfortunately I have to buy all my seafood, though, since I don't live anywhere near the ocean.

 

What if on Monday, we get back to back Rebels "Empire Day" and "Gathering Forces" with a teaser in between?

 

In my lifetime, I'd have to put it as a tie between TPM and Batman '89. The lead up to that one was INSANE and the line was literally around the block in the small town where I grew up.

 

I remember that. They were selling a magazine dedicated solely to the suit and gadgets that was being bought up.

 

I think I was more excited over ROTJ than TPM.
I was desperate to find out how in the hell they were gonna save Han from that Bounty Hunter.
I couldn't give a rats ass about Vader being the father.
As for TPM, I was excited but there wasn't a cliffhanger to resolve.
