When writing characters' thoughts...

    I have attempted several times to write using italics in this forum, in that italics seem the best way to convey character thoughts and internal dialogue...

    Any help on this subject would be helpful...

    (I usually write posts using Ms Word, and tranfer them with copy/paste...)

    use [ then i then ], no spaces. Then at the end, write [/i]

    be careful that you don't use a capitalized "I" by mistake. Doesn't work
