When You Were A Newbie - Which Member Was The First To Stand Out?

I remember SBO. He was a very intelligent poster. I remember he posted one of the first threads speculating who would play the older Anakin in Episodes II and III.

And Quietforce, I also remember your Sabre username. Good to see you're still around.

I think that JediSenoj451 stood out the best. Mostly because I went to her Newbie Party thread and she invited me to join the LS and she did a lot of answering crazy stupid questions for me.

 

It would have to be Commander Antilles, Wormie, Taramidala, and Thran that stood out first and foremost to me when I first started posting in the JC. Of course, Jedi Trace stood out the most- but I only say that because she's my wife and she'd expect that sort of thing.

 

Hmm, probably The Gatherer, as I started out in Lit and he has them purdy colors.

Amazing.

 

Yoda_Jeff. I came, like many during the AOTC pre-release period and spent alot of time in the AOTC board. Yoda_Jeff seemed helpful and friendly, and posted everywhere I went.

Ethril (we did the EP2 script based on spoilers we knew, how far we were off..)

wstraka5 and slavegirl stood out, since they used to be the only ones who talked to me.

Also jedi mind trick when I joined the DLs, as she seemed to be the friendly, yet intimidating leader person.

Oakessteve stood out a lot when I used to lurk in the TPM forum, probably because of his ridiculously polite posts. I thought he was quite a fool at first, but I grew to like him, and we're a bit more than just "friends". Also, jedi-mind-trick stood out, as she was always very nice to me, although I was a bit terrified of her at first.

 

Gads! Do I really come off as so scary?! I am not scary! I promise! I even started showering on a regular basis!

Way back when I joined we didn't have members.... I'm not sure where I was going with that but it soudns wrong and I'm going to stop now.

The ones who stood out for me that I remember were Hathor, PreacherBoy and Freebeer.com.

She was the first person that was so open with me and helped me out tremendously when it came to joining the Lightside. She was actually the first person I added to my WUL and everything. She's a great person all around and the neat part is that surprisingly she lives 15 minutes from my house and the first JC'r I've met

 

Well one I remember is The Mentos Stikes Back or whatever. Also Mathew Trias comes to mind for some reason.

 

Windy was the first user that stuck out I remember... and this was before he was even a mod.

This was years ago on the old web site. My ISP interrupted at the same time the site moved here, and my computer I used then crashed, and it took awhile to find my way back here once I finally got back online.

Creepio was one of the smartest and funniest people I'd ever seen/knew online.

 

Oakessteve, Nord, and strilo were quick to befriend me when I first starting coming here regularly. cbjedi stood out the most to me because he was the TPM mod and I hung out there the most. In the NSA board, it was MaceWindy.
