When You Were A Newbie - Which Member Was The First To Stand Out?

Darth Homer 327. He's such a great guy. He deserves alot of credit.

 

I am still new, but I think Darth Homer is cool, he also stands up for himself, which is good to see. Amy-Wan Kenobi is great, as is Padme Bra. Also StarBlazer makes me laugh, and Yoshi The Green Jedi is a great diplomat.

Don't know how I missed this before!

The very first person I noticed was Purple4Lee quickly followed by MarkCK. I hung out for a while in the collecting forum before I came in here. They were both very kind in answering stupid questions that I had in the beginning, and still have ! They've become good friends and have got me stuff in America that I couldn't get in Ireland.

The next people I noticed were BoB (bet you didn't now you were so popular BoB ), DarthWookiee, Ruin Kai for the brillient little smilies Owen and General CaSS Antilles.

How can I forget Jole who fills me in on all the Harrison Ford news that I don't hear !

Now where would I be with the pub gang they keep me busy and make me laugh during the day!

See... i am a newbe... but i know a lot of you from JN... so i really couldn't say... I'd say.... no one... hows that....

 

Been around for awhile, but the first characters I noticed on this forum were DL, Scott and Rogue Jedi. I actually didn't pay attention to the rest of the board that much til around 6 months ago. Hadn't even seen to many of the other admins around. After that, Hathor, Jasman, and Paradox started sticking out rather well.

That's all I really cared about when I joined, much after the OWC era.

I can't even remember when I first joined the JC... It was well over a year ago, probably closer to 2... I've only just come back here after a long time to find it looking completely different...
The only members I remember from back then are C Creepio and Not George Lucas. Ooo Ooo, and Captain Antilles...

 

Darth Eric. I remember thinking "I never want that guy to notice me --- EVER.

Now he's on my list of favorites! Just goes to show, my first impressions are usually WRONG.

This goes back to my lurking days in May 1999 and I'm probably spelling it wrong - Erik Pflueger.

 

I think IWMIL really stood out back then as a memorable member(this was before I was a regular member and barely knew what was going on). Son of the Suns did too. So did a lot of others. I really miss that time for some things, although I do know what's going on now(well, most of the time).
