Where did Amidala run off to?

I was just reading a topic about how there are not enough eu novels about characters other than the Main ones we see in the movies.

This got me thinking, what does Amidalla do with her time between ep i and ii? Now there's a novel I could read, none of that rogue planet crap.

 

George doesn't sit down and talk these things over with us, you know?

Anyhow..probably boring stuff. She is part of a government, y'know?

 

We dated for those two years, it didnt work out though.

An interesting story has to be somewhere within those ten years about amidala. My a political scandal involving a torid love affair with a new and interesting charecter??

 

i think it was more likely that she accidently opened a new dimension where time does not move - hence the reason why in epII she has not aged at all, whereas anakin is, well, quite different...!

I beg to differ. In TPM she tended to wear relatively formless clothes, whereas in AotC they're much more skintight.

 

Formless = bad.
Skintight = good.

Seeing as how after TPM we got a handful of prequel and sequel novels to it, I figure we'll get a Padme novel sometime in 2003, showing her become a senator, among other things.

One question I've always wondered...Did Artoo stay with Anakin or Padme after the Battle of Naboo? As everyone should know by now, they don't meet again until 10 years later.

 

She finished out her term as Queen of Naboo (probabyl uneventfull) then stepped down to replace Palpatine in the senate.

 

I think people avoiding spoilers could have done without that. Hence me not mentioning it. But who cares anyway...it's probaby on her databank entry at TOS.
