Where did the BB forum go?

I can't access it via a direct link and I can't find it in the forum listings.


My work here is done. If someone thinks I didn't do it right, go about talking to myself or another moderator and getting this thread reopened.

Preserving it was good, I dunnoe if I like the whole "hide it" mentality though.

Well it'd be nice if we could still read it, you know. Why was it made private?

Just to give an admin word here, this was not discussed with the rest of us, so we're sort of in the dark too. Best bet would be to contact epic about it.

 

I?m checking out the situation. I can?t think of any reason it would be made private. I?ll try to open it up as a read-only board.

According to the last few posts in the board:

jediguy: No, I meant that they could keep the forum but just disallow posting for everyone. That way we can still view it.

epic: Yeah, that's what i'll be doing. Right now, in fact!


So I'm presuming that it was a mistake. It should be readable now that I've fiddled with it.

 

Can't you just make the board not private anymore? I don't think that's what epic wanted anyway. Judging from his last post there he wanted to make it read-only, not private.
