Really. In A New Hope, Darth Vader is supposed to be an evil Jedi. The last Jedi. Then in Return of the Jedi, Palpatine is all of a sudden a Jedi to, and Vader's master. But then in The Phantom Menace, It's all this "Sith" business. Now, I know I'd heard of them before that, but where? When did they all of a sudden come in?

Vader and the Emperor were Sith from the very beginning. It just so happened that the name wasn't mentioned in the films, that's all.

Exactly. The Emperor and Vader are actually Sith themselves. ;) :)

What do you mean "all of a sudden?" They always were Sith.

The word "Sith" was in the whole story from the complete beginning. They were also known as the Bogan.

A bit ago, there was a comic about the Sith Magicians and the Jedi Warriors 4,000 years BBY (that's before the Battle of Yavin). You see, they've been around for quite some time.
