Well, I think we did remember, just that we're afraid that we won't understand what you're talking about...but I won't mind trying to read it, although I can barely tell apart anything but the grammer...isn't that strange?

Italian is easier if you know French, after all they have the same structure in the grammar.

ITALIAN IT IS THEN! Thx Anne...

Is it possible for SithSpawn69 to update his poll with additional country entries (Greece for that matter) as there is such a request from several people?

(Let me add to this point that as I am typing these lines I listen to TPM soundtrack in the background -- the atmosphere is GREAT -- doing SW stuff, listening to SW music! :) )

ok first thing to achieve, learn french. I believe I'll fail on that one, how are you supposed to know what words are feminine and what words are masculin? speaking about grammar dear Valiowk..

No, the point is that I can't translate anything because I won't have any idea how to, but I can read the grammer, just read and know what it stands for, without knowing whether the thing is masculine or feminine! :)

    Strange...

Italian is said to be easier to study than French...

And, menilma, there is no way you guys can know whether a word is going to be masculine or feminine... not even if you compare it to Spanish or Italian (for instance, 'sea' is masculine in Spanish and Italian, but feminine in French...)

Valiok, what you says is not that strange (it's the same with Spanish and me, and in some extent, with Italian too) ; you don't need to know whether a word is masculine or feminine to understand it once you know its meaning anyway... it's just that, it's strange to hear ppl saying 'le mer' (and not 'la mer')

Well most words that end in E are feminine in French, just like in Italian most words that end in A are feminine.

Twinnie, sometimes sea is also feminine in spanish, it depends on the phrase(though it´s more common in masculine). this makes it more difficult. and there are other words that can be either masculine or feminine depending on the phrase.don´t know if this happens also in other languages

i think i´m already answering myself the question of why people don´t usually learn spanish...

LoL ! But you know, most of the students in my highschool would take Spanish as a second language, and some even had it as a first language. Maybe it's because Toulouse is pretty close to Spain...

Oh, and when I talk about first language, it's the first studied language, not the mother tongue :D

Anyway, Spanish is hard *teary eyes*
