Full Series Where do you rate The Clone Wars in the Saga?

Thirded.

 

The movie and the first 2 seasons of the cartoon rank higher than anything else from the prequels, and almost as high as RotJ.
Season 3 ranks rock bottom.
Can't comment on season 4 yet.

 

I don't include it within the Saga, it tramples over too much.

 

Yeah, I try to keep it out of my mind when Darth Maul dies.

 

We haven't seen Darth Maul's death yet.

 

You fail to take into consideration a little thing called ye olde retconne.

 

I'm so glad that joke is landing so hard. Do I know this crowd or what?

 

I remember when 'Brothers' first aired. My only comment was:

I'd never thought I'd see the day that The Phantom Menace got ruined.

 

I don't think TPM is as horrible as AOTC, but Brothers has elements from the OT that are sorely missing from both.

 

There isn't anything missing from the PT, beyond the inclusion of many of the deleted scenes and the addition of Qui-Gon Jinn's dialogue with Yoda from RotS.

 

EDIT: You keep on believing.

 

I guess not for you, but for me that's the very reason why I ranked TPM and AOTC below TCW. TCW sets up Anakin's character arc in a number of ways that make ROTS much more believable and easier to digest IMO, stuff those other two films should have and could have been doing but didn't.
