Vader was meditating in his palace. He then felt a disturbance in the force. He stretched his mind, searching to see what he felt. He felt hundreds, perhaps thousands of people. He then sent a message to his master, Darth Sidious."Master," he said in his deep mechanical voice, "I have felt a disturbance in the force. Do we need to send out the troops?" Vader asked. He was hoping he would get to see some action. He hasn't been in a battle since his last killing of a jedi. He waited for the reply of his powerful master.

Koren ran for awhile with Carl and jax. It wasn't long before he came to a small village. "There are Imps, many of them." Koren said to Jax. " Maybe we can sneak around."

Bio: There were rumors that her brother, Kol, who was "recruited" by the stormtroopers, is on Coruscant. Tayeel volunteered for this mission after learning this, in hopes of finding him.

He heard someone running in the distance from their position. But a familiar face came into the firelight. "Tayeel! You made it!" Koren yelled.

IC as Vader

Vader sensed that a woman named Sobi had entered the planet. He wanted to find her and learn her strategy because he had heard reports of a rebel invasion force landing not too far from her.

Lieutenant Tayeel Nightflyer ran. Blaster fire rang in her ears, and almost immediately the red bolts came flying past her. Near the end of the street, Tayeel noticed an alley running perpendicular to the avenue. She ran straight for the mouth of the corridor.

?Halt!? came the filtered voice of a stormtrooper. Tayeel hardly heard the command, but kept running. Just inside the alley, she stopped long enough to take a thermal detonator out of her belt, thumb the activation switch, and toss it over her shoulder. Then she ran for her life.

BOOOMMM!!! The shockwave nearly threw Tayeel off her feet, but she kept her balance and kept running. At the end of the alley, she turned left on the next avenue. She ignored the looks and startled cries of those passing by.

Ten blocks down, Tayeel had regained her confidence (and her breath) and was walking. No troopers had followed her into the alley (or so she thought).

A line of stormtroopers formed further down, creating a cordon and beginning to sift through the crowd of stunned people. Tayeel glanced around, searching for a way out.

To her right was a deserted street. Tayeel turned toward it calmly and walked forward casually.

Just five more steps-

?You there!? Tayeel broke into a run.

Blood pounded in her ears. Her hair was coming loose, but Tayeel had no time to try and fix it. Then she heard a familiar voice.

?Tayeel! You made it!? She knew that voice, and could trust the one who had it.

?Koren!? she hollered with all the voice she had left. ?Is that you?"

Swif ran through the main hallway of the Imperial army. Through the moniters he had seen that the invasion had just begun. he jogged past 2 Imperail troopers. " Man I love this suit." He thought. He was planting bombs through out the base to cause more chaos and destruction.

Bio: The earliest years of Aidan's life are a mystery to everyone but him. He has never disclosed where he came from or how old he is. Aidan joined the Empire when it first started to rise to power. He started at the bottom and quickly worked his way up. A brilliant tactitian and a ruthless leader, Aidan attained the rank of Grand Admiral. He was close knit with the little remaining Sith and the Emperor. The rest of the leadership in the Empire started taking on a different form than what Aidain thought was best, and the Sith were too focused on the dark side, that he disappeared 25 years ago. During his time away, he has come to believe that there is no light or dark sides of the force, and embraces the fact that he is just a dark being. Even through their differences, Aidan is still sympathetic to the Empire, and hopes to help them fight off the Rebellion before they mistakes cost them everything. . .

Bio: Thurstan Idaccen is a relatively non-ambitious Imperial member, who clings to the actual ideals of the Galactic Order.

The Imperial-class Star Destroyer decreased speed to sublight speed after return to Imperial Center from its routine probe droid reconaissance mission to seek out Rebel enclaves.

Captain Idaccen was aghast at the sight. Imperial Center was besieged by a considerable force of Rebel Alliance vessels. A flashing firefight was ensuing between opposing forces.

A ensign from the crew pit called up to him. "Captain, scopes read it as a full-scale Rebel invasion. Judging by the magnitude of the battle, the Rebels have sent almost every last componet of their military."

"One have the biggest follies I have ever heard of. I want a first wave of TIE fighters and TIE bombers to be deployed on the double. Rotate shield-power to accomodate for Rebel positions."

Thurstan Idaccen couldn't help but scratch his chin in a quizzled frown. What were the bandits hoping to accomplish? This was a futile gesture.

Imperial Center was the one planet that could single-handedly squash the entire volume of Rebel Alliance personal, weaponry, and starships.

But then again, Imperial Center was the most strategically-prized gem of the entire galaxy. In a war, control of the former Coruscant gave you a pivotal foothold in any campaign.

Thurstan still thought the Rebels were mad. Perhaps it was a brazen act of vengeance that they hoped could be exacted with minimal losses. But that was utterly impossible.

Colonel Asao marched over to the captain's command chair, clapping his feet on the floor and saluting sharply. "Captain, the Rebels have launched a all-out counterstrike on the cluster of Star Destroyers we are remaining stationary with."

"Go mobile, plot a new trajectory to a starboard angle and flank the advancing Rebel battleships. Intensify all portside gunnery emplacements and lodge a precision volley of proton torpedoes at the main ship."

Colonel Asao saluted briskly and had his fingers dance across a tactical data-pad for the pit crew to implement. The Jagged Ice had never lost a battle in all its years of service to the Empire. Captain Idaccen didn't intend to change that.

In fact, it had been personally awarded a Medal of Allegiance by Emperor Palpatine himself. Now, the Jagged Ice had to be responsible for directly guarding the Emperor and his precious core world.

The Jagged Ice's unleashed TIE fighters saturated the approaching Rebel crafts--1 Mon Calamari Star Cruisers, 1 Corellian corvette, and 1 Nebulon-B frigate--like wasps to an intruder.

TIE bombers did concentrated dumps of high-powered concussion bombs that scattered across the hull surfaces and mushroomed into explosions.

The Jagged Ice broadsided the Corellian corvette with turbolaser spears of green light. The proton torpedoe volley struck the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser and submerged the corvette in boiling fire.

" Tayeel, get over here!" Koren watched her as she ran right over the campfire right into the camp. She landed on her side and stayed there. "Tayeel, what happ-" Right then he saw a ball of fire right over them in the sky. "What the..........." Then a soldier came over to Koren and whispered in his ear," Swif is causing trouble in a Imperial base not too far from her, I think we should move" " Good Idea." Koren told him

Vader surveyed his troops at the landing pad and went over Aidin. "Take them and find the Rebel troops, then, kill them!" He laughed as he walked away

 

The Rebel forces were defining a hyperspace edge along the fringe of the space-battle. Captain Idaccen had already dispatched the second wing of TIE fighters to those coordinates before twenty X-wings dropped out of lightspeed at that location.

"Perfect," he commented as he watched the two-pronged enclosure manuever overtake the Rebel starfighters, then shear them to a thousand pieces of hurtling metal and fireballs.

The Mon Calamari Star Cruiser identified as Home One was now immersed in swallowing fire that had rendered its sheilds obsolete. A few more strafing runs from the TIE bomber contingant would destroy it.

"Alter our vector. Reverse course and bring us in point-blank range of Home One. Adjust shields acorrdingly, contact and have a detailed pincer attack understood between us and a fellow Imperial Star Destroyer."

"Pull out the TIE bombers and have them define a route towards the Nebulon-B frigate--that's our primary target once Home One has been demolished. Have gunners tag individual enemy starfighters in direct threat, and destroy them."

"Colonel Asao, what's the word on contacting a fellow Star Destroyer?"

"The Devastator has acknowledged and is in complience. Pincer formation is affirmative. Their only request is that the Jagged Ice intiates execution of the procedure."

"Understood, good work, Colonel."

Outside the clear, transparisteel viewport that ran the length of the Star Destroyer's bridge, the exchange of crossfire dwindled almost unnoticeably. But it was enough for an opening.

The Jagged Ice's scanners sought out a lull in the battle, a open slot for the Jagged Ice to slip through. With a rumble from the gargantuan ion engines, the Jagged Ice gliding in, blasting their adversaries in the form of X-wings and Y-wings from their desperate flees.

The turbolasers incinerated the starfighters like a sledgehammer smashing puny bugs. In the distance, the TIE bombers dropped their payloads in the form of streaking green bombs and blue-tailed proton torpedoes.

Captain Idaccen emerged from his cushioned seat and strode to a walled gridwork that was a replica of the layout of the battle beyond. The Imperial-class Star Destroyer, Devastator, was rushing in in a crescent formation that mirrored the Jagged Ice's.

Home One continued to be harassed by TIE fighters that swept in in a frenzy of low-powered laser cannons, and then pulled out trying to avoid the tracking quad-laser batteries that occasionally scored a hit.

"I want Home One smothered in fire, devote all turbolasers for the current time being."

The main docking-bay of the Jagged Ice had its magnetic-field disrupted as its cargo of transports were disgorged to land on the surface of Imperial Center, and aid in the ground-struggle against the Rebels.

As Koren was running he picked up his comlink and radioed back to the landing pad. " We need heavy missile frigs up in the air now! The Cruisers are getting swamped!" He kept on running and asked tayeel, "So Tayeel, why are you here?"

OOC: Talcius, Darth_Joesha, and Carl_Jones, are you still playing?"

 

ooc:yes i am, i'm just waiting for when i should make my apperance, maybe i could meet vader.

 

OOC:Aye, was more or less waiting for some real prompt though.

IC:Kha signaled for what was left of his small fleet to drop out of Hyperspace. The 2km long Strike Cruier Crimson Tear was the first to spearhead its' way into realspace and though damaged was stil very formidable and immediately opened fire on a nearby Corellian Corvette. A single Volley brought it's shields down on its' aft and a hail of blue ions soon rendered it little more then a very large escape pod, dead in space.

A Pair of Carrack cruisers, a pair of Marauder Corvettes, an Escort Carrier, and a Nebulon-B frigate soon appeared beside Crimson Tear.

"Helmsmen, what do scanners say?" Kha asked.

"Sir, stragglers and firefights have broken out all over the sector, nearest targets are a pair of Calamari Cruisers engaged with a Victory Class Star Destroyer and a Lancer Frigate."

"Send the Marauders, Spear and Shield, and the Nebulon-B Frigate, Shiva, with their fighter support to assist. The rest will continue on to Coruscant."

 

Home One shattered into molten fragments. The two Star Destroyers continued to pound it mercilessly until the explosion that was comparable to a supernova forced them to retreat.

The Rebels had called in reinforcements in the form of missile frigates. These starships were heavily laden with armor, agile, and brandished a considerable array of weaponry that could punch through a shield like hot sap through paper.

Captain Idaccen quickly analized their configuration as several of the 7 missile frigates branched off to rent other Imperial battleships to scrap metal. The Nebulon-B frigate's calcuated swerve from the TIE bombers coincided with the missile frigates.

Several lobbed salvos of concussion missiles, which billowed out and overtook the TIE bombers in tremendous explosions.

"Withdraw the Beta-squadron, immediately."

All the remaining TIE bombers banked in a wide curve to abort their pass on the Nebulon-B frigate, and to re-dock in the Jagged Ice's hangers for a full replenishment of the bomb supply in their magazines.

The turbolaser and ion cannon stations on all the Star Destroyers pinpointed sensitive portions of the missile frigates, and exploited weak-spots on the blanketing shields.

TIE fighters were now engaged in single dogfights with Rebel X-wings and Y-wings. Captain Idaccen watched as a X-wing dodged a TIE fighter in pursuit, pinwheeled, and then sent the TIE's solar panel spiraling away.

The TIE fighter caught ablaze and twirled out of control. The fire engulfed it until it looked like a meteorite. It finally struck a missile frigate in a shower of fire and wreckage.

The missile frigates took advantage as the Star Destroyers fumbled to assemble into a spherical defensive formation. Literal metallic missiles plowed into hulls, proton torpedoes, and cluster projectile capsules split.

The Jagged Ice rocked.

Swif was running as fast as he could from a small control center that had just been destroyed. He ran past a narrow hallway and opened the door at the end. He ran into a poorly lit room that had an over view of the entire battle ahead. He seen some man in a robe watching the battle like it was some form of entertainment. As he krept closer to see more when a red gaurd shot at him.

" How did he see me?!" Swif thought as he engaged in combat with the Red Guard. He ran behind a wall that was being torn apart be blasts from the Reds rifle. He pulled out his Sniper rifle and climbed up the curtain hanging near him. He aimed, he shot. The Red Guard got up stunned, but not killed. He shot again this time at the head, and the Guard stayed down. He ran out of the room.

" If that Red Gaurd seen me," Swif thought, " theres no telling what the emporer would do to me."

"Koren, I'm being followed by stormtroopers." Tayeel looked behind her as she spoke. "I wasn't able to ditch them. I had to leave my squad. I didn't know yours was here."

" Ah, I see. Lucky for you we were here, and by the way, I know where your brother is. If that is why you are here. His radio beeped. " We are getting...........swamped....... need........reinforceme-........." He was cut off. Koren was enraged. he called back to base, "Send all aerial forces to the battle in the air, We will teach them to mess with the Rebels." A little later, " Yes sir, all forces on the way."

IC: as Vader

Vader went over to his personal assistant and told him, " Find General Sobi and the Bounty Hunter we have been hearing tales of and tell them to report to me."

OOC: Sorry i havent been posting, i was out of town awhile. So where am I? sorry for any inconvenience.

 

Tayeel gasped.

"Kol? You know where he is?"

• After landing Slave I on the planet and gaining entrance to Darth Vader's Fortress, Boba Fett proceeded to locate the Dark Lord in hopes of recieving some task so he could earn more credits.

"Yes. He is in Darth Vader's fortress right now." He sped up a little bit to Carl and Jax, " Carl, Jax, we need to get to the base where Swif is. Carl, I want you to scout ahead."

" Ah,the great Boba Fett. I have an assignment for you. Tayeel Nightflyer is a Rebel Luitenant and has been aggirvating me for quite some time. Bring her back, alive and unspoiled."

General sobi walked into the entrance foyer of vaders fortress,"i need to see Vader." she said to the receptionist.
"What clearence do you have?" the woman asked not looking up.
"Contact his lordship and tell him General sobi has arrived, in case he forgets who i am tell him i have returned from the raid on those rebel ships. I have come to continue serving him." she replied.
