Where in Maine are YOU?

Hey angeladear! Welcome aboard! I'm much farthur to the western side of the state myself... I do a lot of traveling out of state, so I'm pretty glad I don't live as far east as you do

 

Oh I believe it, I think the most exciting thing in Calais is Wal-Mart lol Though there are some lovely hiking trails, which do you a fat lot of good during Maine's glorious winter Anyone else been enjoying the wonderfull fluctuating weather? 57 degrees, 19 degrees, 51, 29, gah!

I am not from Maine, but my wife and her family spend a couple weeks each summer in Old Orchard and they are planning on buying a vaca home there at some point. So I might spend some more time up there in the fall/winter. We currently live in MA outside of Worcester.

Rockport.. cool. I went down there to tour Rockport college this past summer.

Well, cool in the fact that Rockport college is there... Otherwise, seemed like a pretty dull town

 

yea not much happining around here. during winter it is a ghost town.

I'm not living in Maine yet as I mentioned in another thread but I will be in the Presque Isle or Houlton area. I should be moving up late December.

 

Well, I don't know if anyone is still kicking around here, but I now call home Limerick, Maine. And considering Limerick isn't much of a town, lol, some closer to me are Waterboro, Cornish, Hollis, Limington, Standish, Gorham, etc., etc., etc...
