ST Where is Luke? Exile theory

Going into TFA there's a lot of questions that have to be answered regarding the events leading into the movie. The largest one of these is why is Luke in exile? But also who is Rey and why is she on Jakku, why is Kylo (solo?) evil, etc. Because of the need to get on with the plot it makes sense that J.J. and co. will try to answer these questions as concisely as possible. Combining what we know so far and a couple rumors we can speculate how these questions might be effectively answered without too much separate explanation. Here's the broad strokes I envision:

-After ROTJ Luke starts a new Academy and begins training padawans, including Kylo (solo?)
-Luke falls in love with Ms. Skywalker and has Rey
-Luke runs off on a mission that's important for the early alliance/resistance
-While he's away the Academy is attacked. Kylo is kidnapped, and Ms. Skywalker sacrifices herself so that baby/young Rey can get into hiding.
- Rey is presumed dead. Despite his power Luke is unable to save those he loves, just like his father. He goes into self imposed exile broken and uncertain.
-Rey grows up not knowing her identity. Kylo becomes evil and twisted. The relationship between the original OT protagonists is shaky at best.

This allows the reveal of Reys identity to be a major plot point and possible catalyst for other events in the trilogy.
