I am having trouble finding the art. Please can someone link it then for me and then the thread can be locked?

If you mean the "Darth Luke"/"Ridley gives up" concept art, I don't think anyone has posted it publicly. If I'm not mistaken, it's technically stolen material, and according to someone (I don't remember who), someone has been fired because of leaks. So I don't think any of us are going to see it, because no one is going to publicly release it for fear of being involved.

 

it was Devin Faraci who said people got fired because of leaks.

 

He was really only doing that to spread FUD about Indie Revolver.

 

not shocking coming from him and he also badmouthed Making about the Luke reveal.

At the rate Making is going with these Star Wars VII news/updates, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the first of many.

Maybe you missed /Film's explanation on why they wouldn't talk about or link to the original post. Or comingsoon.com's post lamenting the fact that Making opened Pandora's box. It's not just Devin. A lot of people thought it was a mistake/unethical to post it.

Sure, but the point is that Jason got enough flack that he may reconsider posting anything major like that when he gets it. Especially regarding this story. Who knows? Maybe he's already been served with a cease and desist.

 

Describing something in text isn't illegal. He didn't post any art.

 

The words "media" & "unethical" seem to go hand in hand. No sense for them to change now.

 

Yeah, but he could if he posted them. Isn't that what this topic about?

 

you can't get a cease and desist for posting rumors/news.
you can get one for exanple for posting concept arts or for posting a movie script etc.

 

He won't post them because he wants to protect the source. So you'll never see them.

And the whole /Film and Devin thing last week was just sad. They were reacting that way because they got scooped by a Star Wars fan site. Devin had the spoiler, he was just sitting on it for a low-traffic day. Since Jason scooped him, he and his buddies at /Film circled the wagon and took a fake high ground regarding spoilers that they never held before.

If it was the reverse, if Devin posted it before Jason, /Film would be linking and tweeting it all over the place while patting Devin on the back for landing one of the biggest Episode VII stories ever.

 

That was my take on it, too, though I clearly an not privy to any of this. That is just how they came across.
