Calgary Where to get a mauser casting or replica??

I was trying to get a hold of a mauser airsoft replics (cheap one online) and I could not order it. Ebay has none that ship to Canada so I finally posted at the Replica Prop Forum. I found out from a member there that replica firearms are prohibited in Canada.

Sigh.

So I guess the only way I can get a base mauser for my Han Solo blaster would be to find a clear airsoft..which is very unlikely..and then the minute I paint it..it becomes illegal..until it no longer resembles a real gun?

Just wondering if anyone had any experience in this matter and had any ideas (or a raw mauser casting for me)?

Your best bet is probably a resin kit. Not to sure where I would go for one but I know they are out there. Sorry I can't be much help. Anybody else know where to find this?
