FF:QLD Where's the best collector stores in Bris Vegas?

Hi guys
Just wondering where you find are the best places around town to find all the SW and LOTR collectables, I don't mean just the action figures but all the nice stuff the statues and higher end collectables.

 

You could check the Warner Brother stores around town for any LOTR merchandise. As for the high end SW stuff, pretty much have to import the things yourself, of course that depends on what you mean by high end?

 

Where are the Warner stores I only know about Pacific fair down the coast.

 

Is there a reason you are avoiding a shameless plug Greiyls. I used to get a lot of my stuff from a great little comic store called Comics Etc. Toyworlds at Cannon Hill and Capalaba are great for action figures too.

 

The Capalaba one is ace, tops, just grouse...
and the Cannon Hill one is good too if you don't mind being in a dirtbag mall...
That said, the mall right next to it makes Cannon Hill look like Garden City.

Hobbyrama in Stafford stocks some great bronzed 'Fellowship' busts, and you'll find most Electronics Boutique stores will have a limited but worthhile collection of LOTR figures from time to time.

Of course then there's always Fan Attic.

 

Good in a pinch, but your wallet won't talk to you for weeks.

 

There's another WB store out at Chermside. They had a really nice, talking Sauron figure but all their stuff is hella expensive.

 

Strathpine's got a WB store now too. I like Eloectronics Boutique though. NOt that I've seen much Star Wars stuff anywhere but Towyworld or Kmart

 

Toys 'r' us has some excellant figurines and collectables across at Aspley.

I haven't been to Capalaba for about 9 months does he have any new stuff worth mentioning?

 

Toy World Capalaba always has some good stuff.

 

I would have done a shamless plug Otter but we have bugger all in the way of SW... Although we do have some neat LOTR statues

 

I don't see how it's a plug unless any of you are connected with any of these businesses.......

Yeah, Toyworld Capalaba had some really cool stuff when I popped in there a few weeks ago; for example Chewbacca in Chains 12inch and electronic Blockade Runner. Well worth visiting .

 

I hope those toys were in the bargain bin, 'cause they're ancient.
