Which AOTC trailer has the best use of music?

Mystery -- I liked seeing that creature jumping out of the ocean right when the Duel Of The Fates swells at the right moment. Awesome!


Second place goes to Breathing. I loved the darth Maul drum beats and the simplicity of it all.

There's music in Breathing. Just really brief clips of two different cues at the end

 

Forbidden Love. Leia's theme is so beautiful , and I love how when Obi-Wan says, "She's a politician and they are not to be trusted," DOTF kicks in.

Clone War was fine until Forest Battle kicked in. They should've used Battle of Hoth.

Clone War was great at the beginning. Pit of Carkoon was excellent! But as yodaman said, the wheels fell off at the end.

My favorite trailer music has to be the teaser for TPM. That was brilliant!

 

I'm going to say Breathing. I absolutely love that trailer. While the other trailers deliver many eye-candy shots and lines of dialogue, Breathing most makes me want to see AOTC.

EDIT - The cue from "Clash of Lightsabers" (Track 10, ESB:SE disc 2) makes the trailer.

Yeah I agree that "Clone War" was fine until the Forest Battle kicked in. They should have used any of a number of other cues that would have been WAY better.

 

Yah, it was too happy-happy. :-\

 

Forbbidden Love. I think Leia's theme was perfect there, and the transistion to DOTF was excellent. I really liked the music there.

 

Hmmm... I voted for Forbidden Love, because Leia's theme is very appropiate, and that DOTF part makes me get goose-pimples... Mystery was also quite good, specially the beginning, but the period of DOTF that they used there isn't as awesome as Forbidden Love's one.

The Mystery trailer, although the Forbidden Love trailer comes a close second. There was something about the Mystery trailer that really captured the excitement of a Star Wars film. Also, I thought the Clone War had a nice beginning with the start of the Sail Barge Assault, but rather like the actual theme itself, it lost it a bit towards the end, which is a bit of shame.

 

Forbidden Love and Mystery both used the music very well. I also liked Breathing's use of the music, very simple and strait forward. I didn't like the music in Clone Wars at all.

Overall I give the slight edge to Forbidden Love

 

Yeah JWK that seems to be the consensus around here. Except for that one mystery person who voted for "Clone War."

 

Weel, I was one of the persons who chose "Clone War", and unlike many of your I enjoyed the 'Forest Battle'/Ewok battle cue tremendously. I thought it fit the pacing of what was on screen.
