Stop that! Only names on the poll, people! If anyone else tries to vote for someone who's not clearly on the list, I'll close this poll and then NO ONE will get to have sex with ANY cartoon characters.

    Understand?

Isn't that one of Bugs Bunny's catchphrases (not his alone, of course)? Are you saying that you'd go for Bug, Carrie? Interesting....

I always thought Lucky was magically delicious. [face_love]

A close second is Captain Caveman. I really dig men with a full head of hair.

I was thinking of Bugs Bunny when I said that, but more in response to our fine friend Jeff than anything else.

I voted for Jessica Rabbit, but I'll continue to pine away for the Baroness from the GI JOE cartoon. *sigh*

    the baroness was totally foxy.

and ladies...how about that major blood, eh? the eyepatch, the cockney accent, the stubble that made him look like he just woke up on the floor of a dirty latrine...

    HOTTIE!

Damn, I should've thought of The Baroness (or at least Bugs Bunny in drag) instead of all those anime options.

Anyhoo, I seem to remember a GI Joe episode with said Baroness making out with Destro. How was that possible? Didn't he have a mask made of steel? Or was it a considerably less intimidating silvery laytex? Either way, that Baroness was one sick ho.

who also kinda dug Major Blood; not in a "gay" sort of way, more like a "prison" sort of way

I liked the strong silent type: Snakeyes. Considering his name, shouldn't he have been part of Cobra?

if david cronenberg ever makes a sequel to "Crash," i humbly suggest the baroness/destro love affair as a subject.

    fetishizing cold, evil steel...sicko.

I remember it being James Spader and Holly Hunter.

I think with a Gere/Stone movie, "crash" would be what the bos-office would do.

My understanding is that the Baroness went through at least half of Cobra over the years....

Speaking of the Baroness, the latest issue of Toyfare (that I've seen, anyway) sports an Alex Ross cover featuring her (in front) and Cobra Commander (behind, at a podium it seems).

I mention that merely for completion.

Heavy Metal was -in my youth- some mythical movie to which everyone had the soundtrack, but no one had actually seen. It had sex! It had swearing! It had drugs! And it was a cartoon!! Surely our unsuspecting parents would leave us alone to watch it if only we could find a copy. Of course, we couldn't (it was only much later that I learned about the problems with the film's music rights), so its legend only grew. I finally saw it in my sophmore or junior year of high school. And it sucked. The animation was bad (worse than the SW Holiday Special which I'd also recently just seen), the pacing of the stories were terrible, the stories themselves were like lifeless versions of the already-mediocre source comic, and the swearing/sex/drugs seemed only to exist because someone thought it would be cool to have swearing, sex, and drugs in a cartoon.

A year or so later I discovered anime, and was overjoyed to see cartoon sex/drugs/swearing done right (and often very wrong, but that's another thread.) That reminds me, I totally forgot to include the snake woman from Jubei (aka Ninja Scroll.) She was one fine piece of celluloid.
