MORE Secondary characters...
I like this idea
If Ewoks are to appear. I say load some dead ones up with Mother Talzin's magic mist and mow the little zombie teddy bears down. XD
Harsh. Hilarious, but harsh
...in a cannon.
No because Ewoks are natives of Endor.
I knew you would say Tikkes, but i completely on Mundi and the Marines and Mygeeto
Ewoks in TCW would be great, but wouldn't that sort of undermine their appearance in ROTJ? (still, it would be nice if they (re)visited Endor at some point).
It wouldn't be me, would it?!
I just threw Tikkes in to pre-empty any questions why did I not want Tikkes to appear in the future and be explained in the future. BACARA, SAN HILL, MYGEETO FTW!
Fits so well... I love how Rex is staring at him.
IDK, surprise me.
I wondered about that. Do we know if that's known from the EU or incontrovertible canon? I've started to get back into the EU recently, but I've not read anything about Ewoks. To be fair, I'm comfortable with TCW overwriting EU material, but I know not everybody shares that view.
They're clearly not space-faring, but I suppose that doesn't mean they can't have been transported to Endor.
But still, even if they are natives to Endor, your idea about Padme going there to help them could still work, she could help restore their village, or a group of Jedi could fight with them to stop some creatures trying to destroy their village.
As far as I know, ewoks being native to Endor is canon. And EU material is canon.
Do we really want go there? What us or isn't canon depends greatly on one's point of view. For me, if it isn't explicitly stated shown in the movie or in TCW, it's fair game for revision by TCW or future movies. The EU has constantly been contradicted by the prequels and TCW. Even prequel era EU was contradicted by subsequent prequel movies (e.g. Jedi who were openly married with children as in Rogue Planet and some of the Ki-Adi comics). I know that not everyone shares my views though. This probably isn't the thread for that particular hot topic though. The beauty of Star Wars fandom is that there is room for a range of opinions.
EU being canon is a fact, so I have no need to"go there".
Some consider TCW to be EU. I'm not one of them.
I wanna see some of the podracer's from TPM too, like Gasgano, Ben Quadinaros, Mars Guo, Clegg Holdfast and Ody Mandrell
Apologies if my post came across as rude. That was not my intention. I know it's a divisive topic so shouldn't have gone there myself. Needless to say, we aren't going to agree on the EU.
To get back on topic, Ewoks and/or Endor in TCW would still be great in my view though!
Only if the Ewoks eat Ahsoka.
Yes! I'd love to see a pod race TCW-style! Anyone remember the name of the snow-covered planet that looked like Tibet in the Podracer video game? They do great snow planets on the show, so I'd love to see some of those TPM podracers doing their thing there!
That pod racing scene in Ep. I is long enough to last me a lifetime.
I'd take a pod racing scene. I like the sound! The pod racing in TPM scene does sound awesome on a good sound system, particularly when the engines are being started and revved.
I've watched the podrace almost as much as the ROTS intro battle.
And that just reminds me how cool it would be to get a long, epic space battle in TCW.
Definitely, I was disappointed when I heard they cut most of the ROTS battle out. I was hoping it would be more like Return of the Jedi (<- Loudest movie I've ever watched.) rather than just a plot device.
Back on topic: I'd like to see a young Han at some point in the series.
