So which phase of the clone trooper is your favorite?

AotC. It looks original, friendlier and "cool".

 

I prefer the Phase II. They're the perfect blend of elegance and agression.

Unlike the Stormtroopers, they have an air of menace and threat.

Phase II by the way. Just an sexy proto stormtrooper look to it that scares me but also makes me want to sign with a Republic recruiter....

It's almost a tie but I prefer phase 1.

Both are cool, but I like how Phase 1 evokes its Kaminoan heritage -- its overall strangeness, esotericness, the angular smoothness of it. Phase 2 looks like what you would get as you progress into more heavy combat by a militarized, organized force. You can nicely see the transition to the standing army of the stormtroopers with the Empire. Actually the difference between the two phases reminds me of the difference in Batman's costume between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight -- the first is more sleek, almost more basic-looking, but more iconic, whereas the second is more battle-hardened, more soldier-ized, more combat-ready.

 

I'd go for Phase 1 but the helmets' top ridges just constantly remind me too much of Flash Gordon and other 1930's designs, thus it's Phase 2 instead.

 

I used to always prefer the more intimidating, Stormtrooper-esque Phase 2 look, but recently the sleeker, almost beautiful Phase 1 armor has won me over. The way they tied it to Jango and Boba's Mandalorian armor was just brilliant.

I really like the original look of the Clonetroopers' helmet in AOTC as compared to the Phase 2 helmet in ROTS which looks like a weird hybrid between the Phase 1 and the original Stormtrooper helmet.

Can I please ask which game that is from? It's hilariously awesome!

That's a pretty difficult one as they are both pretty awesome looking, but I have to go with phase 2 trooper armor. I just find it to be a much sleeker design. But, the hybrid armor is definitely the coolest as mentioned above. The commando armor is also pretty awesome as well.

 

I'm pretty sure it's the 'Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures' game.
