Which do you prefer?

Turok : Dinosaur Hunter or Turok 2 : Seeds of Evil?


I like both of them equally but in terms of sheer originality I would have to go with the first Turok. There was nothing at the time that could equal running through a jungle with a mini gun and mowing down raptors.

They both sucked but the first Turok sucked less. Asides from the cool death animations and the fact that you got to shoot dinosaurs the games pretty much reeked. And don't get me started on the whole collected 100 triangles for a free life. That stuff belongs to Sonic or Mario in a FPS it's just moronic. Takes all the immersion that you get from a FPS and chucks it out the window.

I remember playing Turok (1) at my friends house like 3 years ago or whatever.

I thought it was the freakin' coolest game ever.


Of course, that was before I had my own computer, so I thought every video game was way cool.

Isn't Dino Crisis better than both of them?

 

Dino Crisis is more of a 3rd person perspective game. Turok is First person and out of the 2 mentioned above, I like the first Turok but since playing Turok Evolution (By no means a great game) it makes those 2 seem very dated.

i used to LOVE rampage as a kid. i popped tons of quarters into that machine as a kid. always played as Lizzie because she was the most like Godzilla.

Rampage > Turok

 

Turok 2, for fact that you were given missions instead of just running around an overfogged map randomly jumping over things and killing velociraptors, and also, the Cerebral Bore was yummy.

 

Lizzie is the best!
