FF:NSW Which era of the Star Wars Sage are you most familiar/interested/comfortable with?

If there is more than one that you like, state which ones.
What this is for? A project I am working on at the moment.

Well, I'm interested in them all.

I guess I'm most knowledgeable/comfortable with the civil war era since that was where the movies were set. But I'd be most interested in the Old Republic times, so that's where I put my vote. The times of the Jedi when they were guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy; the times of Sith wars; when Jedi were respected; basically, the thing that gets me the most in the Star Wars Saga, as you asked, is Jedi. And the Old Republic is the time they thrived.

I enjoyed the NJO series overall, I am even one of the few who would enjoy a game set in that era. I forgot to add Post NJO era to the poll :S ah well.

 

I voted the Galactic Civil War era but i'm also interested in and very well versed in the New Republic era.

 

I voted Classic

 

New Republic. Im a whore for most of the EU books up to NJO.

 

I prefer the Clone Wars, but I quite liked NJO as well.

 

I voted New Republic era. I'm quite knowledgable about classic and clone wars as well. Pre-republic and old republic are almost unknown to me, I just haven't managed to get my hands on the stuff set back then. And the only NJO book I've read is vector prime (which I got in a showbag from the easter show) didn't read any more of them because of a certain someone's death

 

Well I'd vote pre-(or maybe even post) jar jar era!

 

I've read alot of the New Republic/NJO era EU novels and enjoyed them alot.

I know what you mean but I understand from a writer's perspective why they did that. It makes the character's vulnerable and you can't guess what will happen next unlike the old formula where you pretty much know everything will be ok at the end. The series gets hectic especially Star by Star.

 

Im a star wars historian at heart I love the history surrounding the Old Republic era so my vote is Old Republic
